In this brief reaction clip, Draymond Green discusses France's decision to bench NBA center Rudy Gobert during their Olympic game against Canada. He highlights two conflicting explanations: a reported finger surgery and the French coach's claim that the benching was due to unfavorable matchups. Green expresses skepticism about the true reason, noting the lack of evidence that Gobert is lying. He also references other French players—Franz, Shaq, and Wimby—pointing out the coach's rationale that he cannot have both of his big men underperforming simultaneously. Green remarks on the unusual nature of an NBA player being removed from the lineup for a non‑USA Olympic team and shares his personal preference while inviting viewers to decide who should have been taken out. The commentary blends speculation, analysis of coaching decisions, and personal opinion on Olympic roster dynamics.

Franz had a very interesting plot twist going on. Big Rudy Gobert said he had surgery on his finger or something. Franz's coach said he thought the matchups was an issue. And so Rudy didn't start because of the matchups. We don't know what's true. I don't think we have any reason to believe Rudy's lying except for the coach saying that it was for matchups. And in the 3 minutes that Rudy checked in, Shaq started getting off. Wimby had a rough night, but Coach said, "I can't have both of my bigs not playing great." And well, you decide who gotta go. I know who I'd pick, but you, I'll leave it to you to pick. But like to be taken outta the lineup on any other team in the Olympics as an NBA player, not named Team USA, is kind of crazy.
