In this brief YouTube reaction, former NBA player and analyst Draymond Green evaluates Ty Jerome's candidacy for the Most Improved Player (MIP) award. Green praises Jerome's recent elite performance—dropping 45 points on perfect shooting (25 of 25)—and calls him a "good‑ass" NBA player. However, he raises concerns about Jerome's consistency, noting that last season Jerome sat out many games despite playing well, and questions whether he can meet the league's 65‑game minimum for MIP eligibility. Green cautions against overreacting to a single game and urges that sustained performance is needed for Jerome to be a legitimate MIP contender.

Chapters

Ty Jerome is the real MIP candidate. The amount of times I've seen this over the last 24 hours is astounding. Ty is more than capable. Good, good, good-ass NBA basketball player. Like really good. But MIP? Last year Ty sat a lot of games because he was playing too well. If the team isn't doing great, does that ultimately affect them playing him some games and not? Then ultimately, do he play 65 games? You gotta keep this up. Let's not overreact crazy. Try to put more and more pressure on my guy. But boy, it was a hell of a game. 45. 25 on 25 shots? That's elite.
