In this YouTube short, Draymond Green breaks down recent defensive assignments in the NBA, focusing on the oddity of Karl‑Anthony Towns (a forward) being asked to guard Nikola Jokic, a dominant center, and the paradox of Marcus Smart—who won Defensive Player of the Year as a point guard—being tasked with guarding Steph Curry. Green highlights how these situations illustrate the "game within the game" that he enjoys watching, emphasizing the strategic complexities and sometimes illogical matchups that teams employ during games.
