In this brief monologue, Draymond Green announces his personal reserve selections for the NBA All-Star Game, naming seven players for the Western Conference (D‑Book, Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, Jamal Murray, Shingun, Stephon Castle, and LeBron James) and seven for the Eastern Conference (Jalen Duren, Brandon Ingram, Donovan Mitchell, Scottie Barnes, Jaylen Johnson, Norman Powell, and Karl‑Anthony Towns). He frames the All‑Star Game as a money‑driven spectacle, arguing that without its commercial appeal the event would have faded after three uninteresting years, and highlights LeBron James’s ticket‑selling power. Green also makes a tangential remark about Bill Belichick’s Hall‑of‑Fame prospects, using it to illustrate the unpredictability of selections, and predicts that Jalen Duren will likely become a first‑time All‑Star.

For my West reserves, I'm going to go D-Book, KD, Anthony Edwards, Jamal Murray, Shingun, Stephon Castle, and LeBron. Let's make no mistake about it, the All-Star Game is about money. If it wasn't about money, it'd be gone because it hasn't been interesting for 3 years. And LeBron sells tickets. In the East, Jalen Duren, Brandon Ingram, Donovan Mitchell, Scottie Barnes, Jaylen Johnson, Norman Powell, and for my last one, Karl Towns. So that's my reserves. We'll see on Sunday who will make the East from the reserve standpoint, but it's pretty clear Jalen Dern will be a first-time All-Star. But in day and age where Bill Belichick don't get into the Hall of Fame, you never know.
