In this short video, Warriors forward Draymond Green recounts a memorable in‑game incident involving former NBA star Carmelo Anthony. Green describes how Melo, after missing a layup, angrily demanded a foul from the referee. On the very next possession, Melo repeated the same move, successfully drew a foul, and then swaggered to the free‑throw line. Green uses vivid language and profanity to emphasize Melo’s confrontational style, noting that while no technical foul was called, the episode exemplifies Melo’s typical on‑court demeanor.

Melo be talking crazy to referees. Like, I'll never forget this game. He got the ball and he like mid-post caught it, put his head down, boom, into my chest, tried to lay it up. And I held my ground and he missed it. And he turned to the ref, "Call a motherfucking foul." I'm like, "Whoa." So now we come back down, Melo being who Melo is, he goes to the same exact spot, gets the ball. This is the very next play and does the same exact move. Boom, and he gets the foul. He like, yeah, motherfucker, goddamn it. And then he walks, just walks on to the free throw line. Now, he didn't get a tech in that instance, but that's kind of a microcosm of who Melo is.
