In this brief commentary, Draymond Green reflects on a recent remark by Jaylen Brown, emphasizing that Victor Wembanyama cannot be classified within conventional NBA player categories such as two‑way or 3‑and‑D. Green describes Wembanyama as an "otherworldly" talent whose skill set is so unique that it would take multiple players to replicate his impact. While acknowledging that Wembanyama may not be the league's best two‑way player, Green argues that his abilities transcend existing classifications, positioning him as a singular phenomenon in the sport.

I think what Jaylen Brown said the other day, he said it best, is like, when I'm talking two-way players in the league, I ain't talking about Wemby. Like, Wemby's just this otherworldly thing, man. Like, I'm not even gonna say otherworldly person or figure. Like, he's just this otherworldly thing, and everything that he does is gonna take you like 4 people to do. He is that special of a player. Talking about, you know, is he the best two-way player in the league? Like, no, he's not. He's something else. To put him in a category with everybody else, it just ain't. He's something else. There's 3 and D guys, or there's two-way players. No, he's different from everybody. So is he the best? 2-way player in the league. He's just different than everybody. He does all of these things at the most elite clip. He's just different than everybody. And that's just what it is.
