Ooh, that's a good question. To win the championship, we gotta, we gotta gel. We gotta come together as a team. And offensively and defensively, do everything together. I mean, like you said, it's a new group, middle of the season. We got 2, 3 new starters. Everybody's getting to know each other. Kai just came back full-time. A lot of guys come back from injury. We gotta do it together. Like I said earlier, we got a talented team, a lot of firepower, but in the playoffs, everybody got that. So you gotta gel. You gotta— Yeah. We gotta come together and it's gonna be some adversity we gotta, like we're dealing with now, but we really a team, we gotta fight through it.
No doubt, no doubt. My brother, I appreciate you coming on, man. It's an honor and a pleasure. Like I said at the top of the show, man, I know we don't talk often, but you know, I'll put stuff on Instagram story here and there.
Yeah.
But like, I respect your grind, bro. I think with where you are in your career and the route that you've gone, And like I said, I always tell, like try to tell younger guys and like second round picks and undrafted guys, like I identify more with those guys than I do the stars. Like I came in this thing as a second round pick. Nobody gave me a chance. We started winning and my path changed. You know what I'm saying? I identify with guys like you and like myself that's really had to get it out the mud and nobody gave us shit coming into this league. And to see where you've taken your career, bro, in spite of battling the name Curry, like most people think that's a badge of honor. And obviously all our last names are a badge of honor, but people just think that's a golden ticket. And I know the battle that that brought for you, 'cause I watched it. You know what I'm saying? I watched you come play well in the NBA and end up back in the G League because somebody really don't wanna take the chance because your last name Curry and you not Steph. That's dumb as hell. And so I've seen that and I just wanted to say, bro, I appreciate your game. It's been an honor to watch you grow, bro, and keep going, my dog.
Yes, sir. Appreciate it. And before I get outta here, I wanna say everything you doing, man, keep going. Love to see it. Love to see you. One of my favorite people to compete against too. I remember a few years ago I was in Portland. You came into the game, you was talking shit to me and I was loving it, man. You was talking shit. I was like, I might be here now. I might be, Might be making a little mark. Draymond talked some shit to me, trying to get in my head during the game. So I'm doing something right, man. So—
Absolutely. Absolutely. I tell y'all what, man. This is one of the one guys in this league that I can honestly say, I mean, if we play in the NBA Finals, I may have to lay you out because of this. But this is one of the one guys in the league, Steph, don't kill me for this, that get the better of Steph. I'm just throwing that out there. I don't know. Y'all go watch the matchups. I'm just throwing that out there. This is the one guy who we be playing against and I just can't come clothesline him and he come getting the better of Steph, man. I don't like it. I don't like it.
I don't like it. We was talking crazy one game in the, it might've been the playoffs in Portland or whatever. One game we was talking crazy at the free throw line and I'm not Steph. I'll talk back to you. I enjoy it. You know what I'm saying? I ain't gonna just go play my game. I'mma talk back. I'mma say my piece. Steph was at the free throw line, like in between us, he was acting all awkward. He didn't know what to do. I'm his brother. You his guy he been going to war with for 10 years. Steph ain't know what to do with the line. But I was loving it though, my guy.
