In a short YouTube interview, Draymond Green asks JaVale McGee why he keeps appearing on Shaquille O'Neal's "Shaqtin’ a Fool" segment. McGee explains that a recent, relatively minor mistake—a missed layup—was enough to land him on the show, and that this was the last straw after being featured repeatedly. He expresses confusion and frustration, questioning why Shaq continues to highlight him, especially given Shaq's global fame and influence. McGee also raises a broader concern about being the target of jokes as a Black man, seeking to understand the motive behind the repeated spotlight.

I think I went coast to coast and I missed the layup. And I was just like, "Did they just put me on 'Shaqton Da Fool' for missing a layup?" Not airball on layup, not nothing crazy. Do I know somebody you know that you feel a certain type of way about something? Or is there a reason that this is happening? Like, why would you do this to another Black man? At that point, I just didn't understand why I need to be the butt of his jokes. Mm-hmm.
