when he said, "I'm the best two-way player in the world," I get what he was saying, but he's playing so great offensively that I don't even know if he need to talk about the best two-way player in the world. He should just be talking about who's the best player in the NBA right now, because that's the type of basketball Jaylen Brown has been playing. I'm not sure how he hasn't moved into the top 3 of MVP voting, because if you would have told me the Boston Celtics were going to be sellers, their franchise player go down with an Achilles injury, and essentially say, "We gonna use this next year to reset our cap," to get under the second apron so that when JT come back, we can rebuild up. Isn't quite exactly throwing in the towel, but it's definitely not like, yo, we gonna be competing at a high level. But due to the play of Jalen Brown, they have been competing at a very, very, very high level. And they're sitting top 4 in the East. And he's been amazing. He didn't win Eastern Conference Player of the Month. Jalen Brunson won it over him. You're not gonna get me to come up here and say Jalen Brunson shouldn't have won and taking credit away from somebody who earned credit. I'm not that guy. But I do think I do understand Jaylen Brown's frustration. Mm-hmm.
