In this YouTube commentary, Draymond Green addresses rumors that Kevin Durant operated a burner Twitter account named @gethire77. Green states he does not know if the claims are true and notes Durant’s refusal to discuss the matter on Twitter. He emphasizes his personal policy of addressing issues directly when they involve him, and argues that such controversies cannot be handled solely behind closed doors, especially when they affect teammates. Green likens the situation to a sketch from Key & Peele, describing it as awkward and uncertain, and concludes by acknowledging that the truth may remain unknown.

KD's alleged burner account. The burner account is called @gethire77. I don't know that these are true. Again, these are alleged things that KD said. His comment today was that, "I'm not discussing anything about Twitter." To me personally, I am one that when things come up about me, or I like to address, either it's me or it's not me. And I personally just don't think that this is something that you can just allow people to decide what they want to decide because it involves so many other people, including people that you have to go to war with this year. And they may have addressed it behind closed doors. But again, when stuff happened in the public eye, it's hard to just address it behind closed doors. But I'll tell you what, if it is, it probably feel like a Key Peele sketch. A little awkward. Like, what do you do? What's up, bro? I don't know. Maybe one day we'll know the truth. Maybe we already know the truth. Who knows? I don't know.
