Reaction to an NBA Fight, Giannis Breaking "Rules", + Reflecting on 2025

In this episode of the Draymond Green Show, Draymond recaps the Warriors' recent loss in Toronto and win in Brooklyn, dissecting the impact of turnovers, rebounding, and bench contributions while praising Steve Kerr's leadership. He addresses media narratives labeling him "heated," defends his on‑court demeanor, and shares a humorous courtside encounter with a fan known as Mr. Whammy. Draymond then discusses rookie development, emphasizing the constant cycle of earning and losing a coach’s trust, and highlights the progress of players like Michael Porter Jr., Moses Moody, and Will Richard. He celebrates Steph Curry’s hometown honor (an Interstate 30 naming) and plugs a sponsorship for Arkaï, a zero‑proof spirit brand. The host offers his take on the Jose Alvarado‑Mark Williams fight and the differing suspensions, critiques the unwritten NBA rule against shooting when a team is winning by referencing Giannis Antetokounmpo’s late‑game dunk, and comments on All‑Star voting controversies involving Danny Avila, LeBron James, and his own voting position. A "Golden Days" segment revisits a 2013 Madison Square Garden game where Curry’s double‑nickel signaled his arrival and C.J. Melo’s physical play left an impression. Finally, Draymond reflects on his 2025 growth—regaining shooting confidence, increasing patience, favorite moments, a memorable practice anecdote, and his excitement for 2026, including travel plans and a forthcoming book. The episode closes with a New Year message and calls to action for listeners.

What's up everybody? Welcome back to the Draymond Green Show. On today's show, I'll discuss our two most recent games before touching on some other things happening around the league. Then we'll have another edition of Golden Days before we wrap it all up with some reflection on 2025. So let's get right into it. [MUSIC] Awful loss in Toronto. Pathetic loss in Toronto. I think, You know, that was one of those games where we pretty much dominated the entire game. You know, it was back and forth, but we get up 13, cut it to 4, get back up 13, they cut it to 6. And that's one of those games when you're going through it, you start looking at the clock and, well, for me at least, I've been through this long enough now, you looking at the clock and you like, man, we, We dominating the game, but it's only a 12-point game. Like when you, when you're dominating the game, you gotta push 12 to 20. And we did it. And so you're watching it in basketball. Um, the old cliché of it's a game of runs is a fact. And so at some point, you know, they're gonna make a run. And if you push 20 to 12 to 20, then the run cuts it to 10, maybe 8. But you don't push 12 to 20 and the run cuts it to 2. You know, and then at that point it's just a back and forth game. Who miss, who make, who gets stopped. And so we just let them kind of stick around. Every time we made that push, we give it all back. And the turnovers were a big issue, a huge issue. I think we had 20 or 21 of them. They came, you know, they were run stoppers. And so we needed to be better there. We needed to be better on the boards. We were not good on— and so between turnovers and offensive rebounds, the only reason they stayed in the game, they're just getting more shots. You know, they're getting more shots at the goal, more shots on the goal. So that was terrible. You know, you go in the locker room and I thought Steve handled it well. I thought he took more blame than he deserved, but great leaders usually do that. But, you know, he just came in, he said, guys, we're right there, we're on the way. This is gonna be a great season. Let's get outta here. And we got a back-to-back tomorrow. Brooklyn's playing well. We need to go out here and focus in and get a win. And, you know, he can't, he's, you know, he said, that's on me. I didn't get you guys organized enough. I didn't do all these things. And. Yeah. You know, I'm sitting there listening to him like, again, great. That's what a great leader would do. No question. Then he went in the media and did the same thing. A great leader would do that. Unfortunately, I don't think it was his fault. That was on us as players. And we have to win that game. That's like the 5th or 6th game we've lost like that this year. All of a sudden you got those 5 or 6 games you're sitting at, What, 22 and 12? And everything looks different. So we gotta stop blowing those games. Those are the ones that catch up to you in the end. And like I said, we've been doing it all year. At a certain point, it becomes your M.O. And that's not a good one to have. So we need to change that. Also, what I found interesting about that game is I went to my phone, and when I went to my phone, I saw on House of Highlights, they said Draymond Green heated at Scottie Barnes for not guarding him. Heated. And I saw another thing that said Draymond Green crashing out. And then I saw another thing that said Draymond Green unhinged. And I saw all of these things because I hit a shot and start talking shit to the guy that signed off. Heated? Y'all better be careful of these narratives these people be trying to feed y'all. They want to control your minds and they trying to feed you bullshit. Heated? Why would I be heated? It only led to me being 4 for 8 from 3. Like, what's there to be heated about? But if you disrespect like that and I make you pay, you gonna hear about it. But heated? No. These unpaid interns posting shit that they done talked about in their group chat with their friends while they sit in their mom's basement. Enough is enough, man. Stop the slander. Stop the lying. You people out here are fucking nuts. By the way, first off, I tip my hat to Scotty Barnes. Incredible performance. Definitely tip my hat to him. But also another game that we lost that Steph is like on an insane level and you have to capitalize on those games. And obviously he's having a bunch of them, but you have to capitalize on those. And we just didn't capitalize. So that's unfortunate. Blown opportunity. I think we should be sitting here at 5 wins in a row. You just let one get away. And saying that, speaking of could be at 5 wins in a row. Obviously we bounced back last night in Brooklyn. You know, they came out firing, knocking 3s down. They got off to a good start. And then the second unit was able to bring some energy off the bench, which is always needed in a tough back-to-back. I thought Steve did a great job of playing a bunch of different guys. And he told us before the game, he's like, hey, "We gonna play a bunch of different guys. If we have a group of young guys that get it going, we gonna roll with those guys." And me and Steph ended up sitting out the rest of the second quarter, which was great, you know? And so Trace played really well. Will Richard played really well again. Buddy Hill brought great energy off the bench, hit a couple shots, couple steals, layups. 58 points off the bench. Gee Santos had a great game. Didn't score any points. I know people was be like, "Oh man, he didn't score." His impact on the game was incredible. You know, so just seeing guys come in off the bench and play the way that they did helped propel us to that win, helped us get the game under control. Once we got the game under control, you know, we started really to take over that game. And then Steph, absolutely crazy to see 7 points just get wiped away. An and-one 3, an and-one, and Steph don't miss free throws. So that's 7 points just got wiped away in like a matter of minutes. Unbelievable. Absolutely unreal. I've never seen anything like it, but here we are. We pushed through it. Steph got really upset and took the game over. And he was talking to the ref after every shot, which I thought was hilarious. Love when Steph get in that mode. It take a lot to get him in that type of mode, but love when Steph get in that mode. Absolutely incredible. It's just nuts to watch. You know, there's a lot being said about my interaction with Mr. Wammy. Mr. Wammy? Last night, man, I had so much fun in last night's game between the moment with Mr. Whammy, some moments with the Nets players was fun. Terrence Mann getting mad at the end of the game and pushing Rook down. Rook cashed him out anyway and made the free throw. So I had a lot of fun in that game. OG Jawan Howard, me and him was talking a little bit on the bench about Claxton missing free throws. And man, it was a great fun game. Like a good time. That was beautiful. So much fun I had in that game. But the interaction with Mr. Whammy, I don't think it's fair for someone to come stand next to the rim and like throw up gang signs. Like I think it's crazy that they just let this old man come and stand right next to the rim Not in a seat, like not in the aisle. Like this man come to stand right next to the rim. Like if you think about us, like basketball is muscle memory. It's repetition. I've seen this same picture over and over and over and over again. And then like there's this old guy just standing there throwing up gang signs. So I see him before the first free throw. So I tell myself, I gotta make this free throw so I can tell him to sit his old ass down. So I made the first free throw, and I walk over to him like, "Hey, man, sit your old ass down." So— And me and Jimmy cracking up laughing as I go back to the free throw line. But once I told him to sit down like that, it was so much pressure on me to make the next free throw. I had to make the next free throw. If I miss the next free throw, they go crazy in there. Actually, they don't go crazy because it's a Brooklyn Nets game, which is a home game for whatever team they're playing. But the few Nets fans that were in there, they would've went crazy. So I had to make that free throw. But that was an incredible moment. Sometimes you get lost in the game. I know I get lost in the game. And sometimes I'll see people courtside that I'm supposed to talk to, and then I'll get back to the locker room and be like, "Ah, I didn't even talk to him after the game." Needless to say, I actually wanted to go talk to Mr. Wammy after the game, and I just completely forgot. But shout out to Mr. Wammy. That was a fun interaction. I appreciate allowing me to have that interaction. That was great. It was fun as hell. He was a great sport about it. He laughed. We all laughed. Yeah. It was absolutely beautiful to see. Damn, that was a moment. But moving on in that next game, man, Will Richard, young fella got off again. It's crazy 'cause I sent him a text late night the other day and I told him, man, he played great. And Steph and I always laugh at rookies, or young guys, because they play great. And then on the second night of back-to-backs, you look up they box score, they be a disaster. Yeah. And Steph and I for years been laughing about that. So I text Rook, like, man, you did great. You was balling tonight. You brought the energy, da da da. Like, but we laugh at young fellas because y'all never do it back to back. We've been watching it for years, Rook. Sent him a long text. He text me back, huh. And then he went and did it again. I see a lot of people calling for more playing time for the Rook. And I think, you know, as a rookie, number one, you always gonna be earning your keep. Like, that's just the way it goes. It's just, unless you're a top 10 pick, somebody has a 35th pick, unless you're a top 10 pick, top 20 pick, and you're a rookie and you play well, it don't matter. You're gonna always be, you're gonna always be making your case again and again and again. And that is the journey. And so as much as people say, oh man, the Rook need to be a mainstay in the lineup. Listen, if he keep playing the way he playing, and I know he will keep providing that energy, he got a knack for the ball, his big shots, confident. He keep doing that and he'll earn the minutes because you continue earning the trust. But as a rookie, with the mistakes that rookies normally make, which is why there's a common term, rookie mistakes. You're always constantly earning a coach's trust because those mistakes are gonna pop up just because they're due to a lack of experience. This is not just a Will Richard thing, this is in general. And so a rookie will always be earning the coach's trust and they'll always be breaking it because some of the mistakes that rookies are gonna make, you're constantly breaking the trust of the coach and you're constantly earning it back, right? Like, and that's just the song and dance that goes with being a rookie and being a young guy in this league. Needless to say, like I said, young fella keep bringing the energy, bringing, playing the way he's playing. You make it impossible for a coach to keep you off the court. And that is his job, to make it impossible for a coach to keep him off the floor. He's been in there wintertime, crushed like, saying wintertime, made big plays down the stretch. That's your job. Remember Coach Bruce, my assistant coach from high school, we still tight like this. Coach Bruce told me when I was in college, And I was barely playing at Michigan State. He said, man, the time is so— give you 2 minutes, make him give you 4. If he give you 4, you gotta make him give you 8. If he give you 8, goddamn it, you gotta make him give you 16. And that's— that was my mindset. And that was my mindset in the NBA. Well, they give me 2 minutes, I need to turn 2 into 4. And that's gotta be the rook's mindset. They give you 6 minutes, turn it into 12. And he did that last night and he gotta continue doing that because it's a constant battle. Of earning a coach's trust as a rookie. That's just what comes with the territory. Michael Porter Jr. been getting off, playing great, in All-Star contention right now. He is playing like the Michael Porter that everybody thought he would be coming outta high school and college before the injuries. And in Denver, you know, in Denver they got Joker, they got Jamal, Aaron Gordon. So sometimes he's the third option, sometimes he's the fourth option. Here he's the first option and he's playing incredible basketball. He's moving well, handling, you know, it's off the dribble, it's to the cup, it's tough shots, threes, mid-range. Michael Porter Jr. getting to it, man. Uh, and it's great to see him get that opportunity. I don't think it'll be an opportunity— that he'll have for the rest of his career, meaning being the number one option. But being that he's gotten this opportunity here with this team to be the number one option, now when you go to another team, they'll be looking at bringing you in as possibly as a two. And that's a step up from where he was in Denver, right? And so it just allows you to grow in your career. And it's good to see him get that opportunity and being healthy and look at playing the way he's playing. It just gotta make you wonder if he never had those back injuries, what, what the hell are we looking at? Everything that I heard people say Michael Porter Jr. would be before the injuries, you can definitely see everything they meant. 6'10" with that skill level, with that shooting ability, still a pretty good athlete, but he was athletic as hell before. Like, I think that man had 3 or 4 back surgeries, and I could be wrong. He could be 2. However, like that, 2, 1 is crazy. And so, man, shout out to Michael Porter Jr. doing it at the level he doing it right now. It's great to see. You know, and now, you know, we head to Charlotte. You know, homecoming for Steph. Steph is getting an interstate exchange named after him. Like how? Interstate 30. Crazy. In Charlotte. That's insane. Right by Davidson. Don't give me the lion, but it's crazy. So shout out to 30 Curry, man. That's incredible. You know, we go to Charlotte, the fans go crazy for him. It's always great. He's always going out there trying to put on a show when he was back home. So it'd be a fun game. Looking, we need to close this road trip out strong. Close the year out strong, and make sure we roll into next year. So looking forward to Charlotte as we get out of here in New York City. After this break, I'll share my opinion on the Jose Alvarado, Mark Williams fight, Giannis's controversial end of the game dunk, which I will talk about with us last night as well at Terrence Mann, and much more. Be right back after this. Lately, I've been craving that little end of day ritual. You know, making a drink, taking a breath, just transitioning outta work mode. But I haven't always wanted the alcohol part. So I started exploring non-alcoholic spirits. And as an athlete, I can't drink alcohol every day. And the one that's really surprised me was Arkaï. They've been doing this for over a decade, long before sober curious even was a trend. And they were created for anyone who wants the flavor and experience of a cocktail without the alcohol. Arkaï, spelled A-R-K-A-Y, makes zero-proof versions of basically every major spirit. Whiskey, tequila, gin, rum, vodka, even amaretto. They're zero alcohol, zero sugar, and zero calories. But they still taste shockingly close to the real thing. Their patented warm molecule gives you the burn effect. That warm, smooth kick you normally only get from alcohol without a drop of it. I tried swapping in RK's rum for my usual Dark and Stormy, and it genuinely fooled me. I'm not gonna lie. The flavor, the finish, the subtle warmth, it all showed up. And with more than 20 flavors, you can recreate pretty much anything you love. Investors, influencers, and millions of fans are joining the RK Zero Proof revolution, and the warm molecule is changing the game. With the holiday season and dry January here, there's no better time to try RK Zero Proof. Your favorite cocktails made non-alcoholic. RK available at Walmart, Amazon, or rkbeverages.com. Cheers. That's A-R-K-A-Y beverages.com. So as we move around the association, I'll give y'all my quick thoughts on Jose Alvarado and Mark Williams fighting. Jose Alvarado was suspended for 2 games. Mark Williams was suspended for 1 game. And you must ask yourself the question, why did the suspensions play out that way? And quite honestly, Mark Williams kinda initiated it. So why did he only get 1 game and Jose got 2? Well, usually in this league, the guy that gets beat up gets less money games. And Mark Williams didn't look like he had ever been into a fight in his life. Now maybe the opponent was so much shorter than him that like his depth perception or like, I don't know. But he looked like he had never got into a fight in his life. And Jose caught him with a crazy, pow, crazy right. I tell you what, if I'm in a fight though, And my teammates stand behind me and do this? Come on, man. We can't be doing that. David West used to always tell us, man, if something go on on the court, you go over there because you don't know what's gonna happen. I ain't saying you gotta go over there and fight or put— but you at least gotta go stand up because you don't know what's gonna happen. What if 5— those 5 guys jump on your one teammate and you stay over there. Then what? You just gonna not help then? So David West used to always tell us, man, if your teammate get into it, go over there. I have to teeter that line a little bit 'cause I'm a, you know, I've been involved in a lot. And so when I get in the mix, it don't always go that way. So I have to teeter that line and kind of, But you gotta go over there. And that is, so when I see stuff like that, it's crazy to me. But nonetheless, Jose had a tough right and he had to punch up. I feel like punching up will be a little tougher than punching down. Yeah. Mark Williams, man. Loon would be, Loon was actually at the Jose fight. He's playing with the Pelicans. But Loom would be pissed, man. Loom would be, "Come on, man. You a big bro. You can't go down like that, bro. You a big man. Hey, come on, man." So I know Loom was over there cracking up that Jose was beating up Mark Williams. 'Cause you a big man. You know, we gotta, you gotta do better. I was a little surprised. But it was funny. Also around the association, Giannis windmill dunked versus the Bulls when the game was already won. I must say, I always hate when guys like get upset at the end of the game 'cause somebody go score. Like, bro, you lost the game. There was a 48-minute time clock that this game was played that you could've did any of that. Don't get mad at us for scoring in the last seconds of the game. There's still time on the clock. And by the way, Those 2, 3 points count towards someone's average. They count. Like, they're real points. Every coach your whole life has told you, "Play from the start to the finish, from the beginning buzzer to the end buzzer." From tip-off to the end sound of the buzzer, you play. And then there's this unwritten rule, like, "Oh, you're winning. You shouldn't shoot the ball." Fuck that. Shoot. Last night, we had a situation where we was gonna take a turnover. Steph's about to take a turnover. I'm like, yo, throw me the ball. And then I hit the man in the middle, Melt, shoot it. You open. But we not taking the turnover. We got a turnover problem. We're not taking the turnover. We're shooting. There's a shot clock on. It's one thing if the shot clock was off. Different situation if shot clock is off. But even still, if somebody decide to shoot, there is time on the clock. I hate these unwritten-ass rules. That's like, "Oh man, you can't shoot it because you're winning." Miss me with that. Miss me with that. No thank you. Shoot the ball. So we shot last night and Rook was like, "I'll take turnover." I said, "Rook, shoot it." And then Terrence Mann pushed him down. That could have led to some controversial stuff, but I laughed at him 'cause it was funny. And you making a fool of yourself because y'all lost, bro. And they was winning and talking spicy. But then you want guys to be nice when you losing in the end. Like, oh, well now we ain't talking no more because we losing and y'all shouldn't shoot, y'all should be nice. No, bro, y'all was talking when y'all was winning. Now y'all losing and y'all don't wanna talk no more? Miss me with that. So, Giannis's explanation, I rock with it. We trying to make the playoffs. I don't think he had to talk about getting traded and all that. I think he was trying to make another point, but his explanation about if that's what we need to do, then so be it. And so be it. There's time on the clock. Get back on defense if you don't want nobody to shoot. It's very simple. Then Michael Porter shot and he missed. So again, I don't know, man. I don't rock with the unwritten rules. They're not written for a reason. So there's that. All these guys be trying to fight at the end. Stop it. No one cares. Happy to see the news of Joker. Only 4 weeks out, I had saw something that said they feared it was an ACL. So I'm very happy to see that Draymond Green, around 4 weeks with a hyperextension, man. You never want to see guys go down with an injury. He's playing at an elite level. This will probably take him out of MVP consideration, which is unfortunate because the year he's having is absolutely insane. Wishing the big fella a speedy recovery. They say he's to miss at least 4 weeks. Devastating. But like I said, Yeah. And still great news from what it could have been. So get healthy, big fella, man. Looking forward to seeing the big fella back out there doing the historical things that he doing on a nightly basis. I think we're all lucky to witness a talent that great, and you want to see great talent on the floor. So speedy recovery to the big fella. First NBA All-Star returns have come in. I think a couple of the most noteworthy things were Danny Avilla is 7th in the West in voting. There was a lot of mixed reviews from fans, which I didn't quite understand. That man has improved like crazy. He's the number 1 option averaging 25, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Why can't he be in the MVP— I mean, excuse me, in the All-Star category? I don't know. Why wouldn't he be in contention? And these are fans voting for this. So the fans that's going crazy, it ain't like, like no coach did this. These were fans that voted for this. So the ones that's going crazy, like how are you mad at someone else's opinion? I don't understand that. But I think Danny is having an incredible year and I do think he deserves to be an All-Star. Another thing that stood out was where Bron sat on the list. He sat, Draymond Green sits in 9th currently, a sight that we have not seen in 20 years, 20-plus years. So that would make it, you know, if he misses 50% of the fan vote, that would make it tough for him to be a starter. You know, then you ask yourself the question of does he get voted in from the coaches as a reserve? I don't know. He's only played 14 games. I don't know how they're looking at this or what they'll do, but what I know is they better make sure he is. Like, it's LeBron James and he's who he is to this league and started the year off hurt, great. But I don't know. Like, I don't know the right answer other than like, figure it out. You know, I played in the All-Star Game where the commish added Dirk and D-Wade as like, you know, legends of the game. And like, it was they last one. And like, they are who they are. They should be. And it's the same with Bron. Like, and the game's in LA. Like, so I know a lot of people like, "Oh man, he shouldn't be an All-Star." Like, shut up. Yes, he should. Because he's an All-Star. He's one of the faces of the NBA. He's been the face of the NBA for 20 years. Yeah, figure it out. But— Yeah. There's no world where LeBron James isn't an All-Star this year. So I see a lot of people saying that, and I get where you're coming from, but I don't get where you're coming from. Like, he'll be an All-Star. By the way, shout out to my dog. Happy birthday. Appreciate you, champ. Much love, my dog. In other news, Spurs have lost their last 2 games. After the big win to the Thunder, they lose to the Jazz at home, and then they lose to the Cavs. I know a lot of people's trying to read into that. You know, you come off a big emotional win like that, you have a couple letdowns, it happens. I think that's a very good team. I'm not worried about that. They'll be fine. Lastly, around the association, Dwight Howard tweeted, "Random, I honestly feel like the president should make 1 year of service mandatory for everybody born in America." Mm-hmm. A lot of other countries do it, and I think it will help with discipline and structure. I'm curious what y'all think this would— I'm curious what y'all think would this help— Oh man. Okay, some punctuation, Mitch. I'm curious of what y'all think. Would this help America or nah? This is crazy. I don't know. My man must have been smoking something good. Because this is nuts. Number one, America is the land of the free, right? So like to be forced to do like military, then it's no longer the land of the free. I'm not getting into all this stuff, but yeah, no. Moving on to Golden Days. Make sure if you want to be featured on Golden Days, you send your questions to draymondgreen@audacy.com. Love these. These moments. Here, could you take us through the 2013 game at the Garden against the Knicks? The one with the missed high-five celebration from Steph? Yes, I can. So interestingly enough, that game we were, we played Indiana the night before and David Lee got suspended and Bogaert and Steph and all of them got fined and like some were Roy Hibbert. And so I ended up starting that game. At the Garden, which was exciting as hell. And we're there, we're playing, Steph get cooking. He had double nickel that night. And he also infamously shimmy right past my hand. To see him get cooking like that in the Garden was like, yo, we already knew Steph was starting to turn that corner. You know, like he was be— Like— really starting to make his name. And then you go in the Garden and he dropped the double nickel, or it was '55 or '54, one of the two, tomato, tomato. And that was like his "I arrived" moment. Like you just went and did it in the Garden. That's MJ-esque, that's Kobe-esque, that's LeBron-esque. That game he arrived. He got fined $35,000 earlier in the day and then that happened. That game he arrived. And unfortunately, you know, my memory from that game is getting shimmy passed. But I appreciate you, Jimmy Fanato. You know, I don't think— You know, all the games you could have brought up, you had to bring up the one where I got shimmy right past. But nonetheless, that was Steph Curry's arrival game. Like, I'm here, I'm here to stay. I'm about to be one of them ones. And that was it. And I remember it like it was yesterday. You know, you got Mark Jackson coaching back in the guard, so it's nostalgia. Mark loved the guard. It's a whole thing. And then Steph go out there and do what he did. It was special to see. I also learned a lot about Melo that game. Melo got the ball, first possession, post, boom, Melo was physical as hell. Boom, put his shoulder in my chest, going for the layup, I get the stop. He go to rough, that's a fucking foul. They ain't call the foul. Melo come back down the next play, go back to the same spot, do the same exact move, boom, through my chest. He get the foul. He made the ref call the foul. And that's when I was like, "Oh, he different." This man just went back to the same exact move the next play. He different. Physicality was through the roof. Melo first step was through the roof. His physicality he played with was incredible to be the level of, or at the level of scoring that Melo was. But that was an early moment in my career. That happened in that game where it showed me like, "Oh, okay. You gotta lock in if you wanna compete at this level." So I appreciate that moment from Melo. That was a good one. And I appreciate you, Jimmy, for bringing that game to the forefront because that to me was the game that Steph Curry really arrived. Always appreciate a good Golden Days moment. Before we get outta here, we will have the year in review. For this last segment, I thought it would be fun to look back at this year and do some reflecting both on myself, the team. So let's get right into it. What aspect of your game evolved the most in 2025? I think getting the confidence back in my shot was big. Something that I can appreciate the most. Yeah, I went through some struggles with that confidence-wise. So to get my confidence back in my shot, to just be willing to open and fire, I can appreciate that. What aspect of your life or off-court skills evolved the most in 2025? I would say patience. It's one thing I have been trying to work on for a while, and I feel like I made a lot of progress in 2025 in the patience category. And so I would say my patience. Favorite in-game moment of 2025. Man. When I walked Rudy Gobert down off Steph, you know, dunk with the push from Jaden McDaniels, I would say that was my favorite moment of, endgame moment of 2025. And then the stop on Shingun to close out the series, that was a favorite moment as well. Favorite in-practice story from 2025 was the Buddy Hill, You know, Steve had mentioned something and Buddy goes, "No blicky, Steve." And Steve's like, "What?" He's like, "No blicky, Steve." They talking about somebody who Buddy saying can't shoot. "No blicky, Steve." Steve had no idea what blicky meant and now he can't stop using the word. So I would say that was my favorite moment in practice of 2025. Which Warriors players took the biggest jump in 2025? You can only name one. I would have to say Moses Moody, I would say took the biggest jump. You know, his role has become more and more consistent over 2025, became a starter in 2025. I think anytime you go from a bench to a starter, that's the biggest jump. So I'll go with Moses Moody. The hardest moment for me in 2025. Hmm. What is hard? Define what hard is. I don't know because I like to just power through and handle things and address things. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I don't know. Leaving on a road trip while possibly about to have a baby. I don't know. Was hard. What are you most excited about for 2026? I am excited to go on this run, get this season on the right track. Continue to spend as much time as I can with my family. Um, and I got some exciting travel lined up for 2026, and I have a book releasing in 2026 that I'm excited to get in all the readers' hands. So that is what I'm most excited about for 2026. What are you carrying into next year and what are you leaving behind in 2025? I'm not a big New Year's resolution person. I think you should be striving to be better every single day and one day isn't going to change that for me, the calendar flipping one day. I've never been that type of person. I'm a goal setter and I strive for my goals all the time. So I've never really, and I'm a very motivated and driven person. So I've never really needed a new year to make the resolution to go after a goal. So that's not really my thing. If that's your thing, that's your thing. It's not my thing. I don't never want it to be my thing. It never will be my thing. I am a goal setter. I will continue to attack those goals. But I do wanna wish everybody a happy new year, an incredible, prosperous 2026. Happy new year. May everything you are after come to you. You go after everything you want. Chase it this year like you have never before, 'cause I'm always chasing mine like that. Until next year, thank y'all again for tuning in to the Draymond Green Show.
