In a brief YouTube commentary, Draymond Green criticizes Shai Gilgeous‑Alexander (referred to as “Shay”) for publicly praising Dillon Brooks while later disparaging him in an Instagram post, labeling Shai’s behavior as “cold‑blooded.” Green argues that the media and fans love to cast players as villains until the truth emerges, suggesting that the real villain is the one manipulating narratives. He then shifts to a playoff outlook, noting that the Oklahoma City Thunder will likely face the San Antonio Spurs—who will be without “J Dub”—in the Western Conference Finals, describing this matchup as a foregone conclusion.

Shay is a cold-blooded killer. This man gets on the podium all series long, shows that he's completely unbothered by what Dylan Brooks is doing, shouts this man out, says nothing but great things about him when everybody's wanting to tear him down, and then completely annihilates him in an Instagram post. Everybody wants to be villainous until the brooms come out and the dust settles and you realize who the villain is. I almost rather you just talk about me in the press conference. Than that. Like, this is just cold-blooded, man. What a bar. Speaking about OKC, they run up against these Spurs without J Dub. I don't know. I do think it's a foregone conclusion though that the Spurs and the Thunder will face off in the Western Conference Finals.
