In this monologue from The Draymond Green Show, Draymond Green argues that the 2017 Golden State Warriors—featuring Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and himself—constitute the greatest basketball team ever assembled. He acknowledges that the team fell short of completing a championship run that season, but insists that its overall talent, chemistry, and on‑court dominance surpass historic squads such as the 1995‑96 Chicago Bulls and the Warriors’ own 2015‑16 team. Green emphasizes the "feeling" of greatness over raw win totals, dismisses external opinions, and repeatedly asserts that no future team can eclipse the 2017 roster.

That essentially puts you in a place of undoubtedly the best team ever. If we were to complete it. Now— It's cool to be in the conversation. To be quite frank with you, I still think we had best team ever. Although we didn't finish it. And win a championship, I still think that was the best team ever until 2017. I was about to say, where we going with that? 'Cause that team was nice. Until 2017. And then I think that team took over as the greatest team ever. So I think we still accomplished it, best team ever, but not quite, you know, people take numbers and they wanna put the numbers there and say, oh, well the Bulls had 72 wins. It's a feeling, bro. Exactly. We were the best team ever. I don't care what no one said. I can't see anyone beating that 2017 team. Not even our first, the '15, '16. I can't see anyone beating that 2017 team. They say in the medical field, I concur. Hands down. That's it. The best team ever.
