In this brief YouTube commentary, Draymond Green and a second speaker discuss how Steph Curry’s self‑confidence and lack of insecurity could make a trade for Jimmy Butler feasible for the Golden State Warriors. Green emphasizes that Curry’s secure mindset allows an "alpha" like Butler to join without threatening the team’s core, while the second speaker uses a DJ‑party metaphor: Curry is the DJ who wants the party to go on, Draymond protects the DJ, and Butler is the dancer who can adapt to any rhythm. The speakers argue that Curry’s attitude creates a supportive environment that encourages other stars to thrive, making the hypothetical trade plausible.

He is about to be here and be the Miami Heat Jimmy for sure. But I'm gonna tell you the dopest thing about that whole dynamic, the lack of insecurity of Steph Curry. So many people will lack the self-confidence in themselves to be in that position that Steph Curry in and have another alpha like Jimmy come in and be like, "Oh yeah, bro, like go do your thing. Like it's cool." That is the power of Steph Curry, man.
I look at it like this. Steph is the DJ. He want to party. Draymond's security making sure Nobody mess with the DJ. Now you got Jimmy. Steph play the music. Jimmy can dance to any rhythm or song. Absolutely. That mechanism of Steph wanting to party, meaning, you know, he, he encourages success. He needs everyone else to do their job to take some pressure off of him. It's fire, bro. I love it.
