Warriors-Lakers Game 5 reaction: Anthony Davis hurt, Steph & Dray force Game 6 | Draymond Green Show

In this solo episode of the Draymond Green Show, Draymond Green breaks down the Warriors' Game 5 victory over the Lakers, highlighting the team's high‑energy performance and the need to win a road game to force a Game 7. He reviews individual player contributions—his own 20‑point, 10‑rebound effort, Steph Curry’s steady 27‑point night, Andrew Wiggins’ 25‑point burst, Gary Payton II’s defensive impact, Klay Thompson’s spacing despite a shooting slump, and Moses Moody’s rookie poise. Green discusses Anthony Davis’s head injury, using it as a springboard to talk about the seriousness of head trauma across sports. He explains a conversation with referee Zach Zarba about tech fouls and the heightened emotions of a playoff elimination game. The episode also includes personal gratitude for his media partners (The Volume, Bleacher Report), a shout‑out to business leaders like Marc Benioff, and a heartfelt prayer for Jamie Foxx’s health. Green provides updates and predictions for other playoff series (Knicks‑Heat, 76ers‑Celtics, Nuggets‑Suns) and offers his take on the latest All‑Defensive and All‑NBA selections, critiquing the new CBA rule that could exclude several superstars. Throughout, he mixes analytical commentary with personal anecdotes, expressing optimism for Game 6 and a determination to bring the series back to the Bay.

What's up everybody? It's Draymond Green. Make sure you subscribe to the Volumes YouTube channel below so you don't miss any more of this great content going forward. What's up everybody? Welcome back to the Draymond Green Show. As you know, we are recording this the morning after Game 5, uh, where the Dubs got a big win, extending the series, headed back to LA today. Excited for the opportunity, as I told you all before. The goal was to win one game. We did that, protected our home court, and now it's time to go on the road and take one. Um, in every series you gotta go win a road game. Um, and we plan on doing that and we haven't done that yet. So I'm excited about it. As a reminder, if you're watching this on the Bleacher Report app, don't forget to subscribe to the Volumes YouTube channel as well. Um, as all of our episodes will not be there, but you will catch some of them. So lock in on both of them. Yeah. And just shout out to the Bleacher Report family and The Volume family. For me, this is all kind of tying together. Obviously Bleacher Report is part of the Turner family. The Volume is part of my family. So it's exciting and I'm happy how it's all coming together. The Volume for me has been a great, absolutely great partner. When I started this podcast journey a year and a half ago, Almost 2 years ago in the next few months. I honestly really just wanted to try it out again. I knew from my first podcast that I did many years ago, I wasn't, and I wasn't ready for it. I knew that you not often do you get second chances. And so I knew for me and coming back into this business that if I was gonna do it, whenever I did it, that it had to be right. And it had to be, and that I had to be committed. And so I always try to make sure I give you guys content that you're subscribed and checking out for. And again, I just wanna say thank you to The Volume as a partner, man. It's been absolutely amazing journey and let's keep this thing going. But as I said, getting into Game 5, the Dubs took Game 5 121 to 106. It came out energy, high energy, guns blazing. Attacking from the gate. You know, when you're, when you're facing elimination, you just gotta leave it all out there on the table. And by the way, we're facing elimination again tomorrow. So we gotta go out with not the same mindset, but an even better mindset because you're on the road and the same mindset that works at home does not work on the road. So gotta go in even— Better. With more dog, with more fight, with more focus. And that'll be the goal and that'll be the challenge for us to extend this thing one more game and bring it back to the Bay for Game 7. Everybody loves Game 7. Greatest two words in sports. So looking forward to Game 6 and going out there and getting it done. Obviously we all heard the news about AD. Also just recently heard that, you know, he's expected to play tomorrow, which I'm happy about. You never want to play against a team not at their best. Not at full strength. And also, you know, as I spoke about last episode when I banged my head against the floor, against the floor when me and Bron had the collision midair. Just don't play with those head injuries, man. They're serious. I saw a lot of people laughing and talk like, but it's a hit to the head. Yeah.— and like one small hit to the head can change everything in your life. So I don't really understand the joke. I don't understand it at all. It's every time you step out on the basketball court, the football field, the hockey, on the ice, on the pitch, you're risking your life because one injury can change everything. You know, we saw in not this past World Cup, but the World Cup before, Neymar have an injury to his back that almost paralyzed him. There was a couple centimeters away from paralyzing him. And so, you know, I don't quite understand the laughing, why it's so funny that a guy gets hit in the head. Like, the smallest hit to the wrong part of the head can change your life. So I don't really understand that. Um, but it's quite a few things I don't necessarily understand. Um, in this world that we live in. But as I said, I, you know, I wanted to come out guns blazing with high energy. Finished the game with 20 and 10. Jackson said, man, I just got on this, logged in, and Jackson said, man, your first 20 and 10 game since 2019. I said, goddamn Jackson, I only played in one playoff run, had one playoff run since 2019. Cut me a little slack. No, but honestly, You know, it's great to have a great game. Like I said, with your back against the wall, you wanna play your best. Also found out more news last night that LeBron James and I are the only two active players with 60+ playoff double-doubles. And that one, that kind of took me back a little bit. Like, you know, Anytime you're mentioned on a list with LeBron James, that's incredible. Like we all know his resume. I was sitting with my wife last night and she's like, "Oh man, that's dope. So 60 plus, right?" I'm like, "Yeah, LeBron probably got 200 plus, but yeah, 60 plus, I'll take it." And it was, you know, like I said, that's what you, you don't play the game for records. You don't play the game for accolades, but that is what you put the work in for. You know, like to ultimately be acknowledged with the GOATs. And for me, when I saw that, not some crazy big deal, but for me just to see that, like, it's like more motivation to keep going, you know, like I had saw maybe a week and a half ago, a triple-double playoff list. And like, I think I was right there ahead of Joker or maybe a little behind or ahead. And, but like, there like Kevin Durant's in the playoffs, you know, like there are Jimmy Butler's in the playoffs, Joel, like there's great players in the playoffs. And for me to be the only other guy on that list, Steph Curry's in the playoffs. Like for me to be the only guy on that list, I'm very appreciative of that. And it's something that I don't take for granted. Steph had 27, 8, and 3. I saw someone say, Man, it was a pretty quiet 27 or quiet game for Steph. And I'm like, okay, well that's, I mean, it was definitely like not some crazy flurry. You know, we're used to like Steph going on these crazy flurries and it was just like steady the whole game. Like pace, control, getting others involved. No turn, not turning the ball over. Like it was just controlled the whole game and it was, just marching you along. And I thought it was absolutely great. Absolutely incredible. You know, and also didn't want him to have to carry so much of the load like he did in game 4. That is a bit taxing on the body and we definitely didn't want to do that. And so it was great, you know, for me to come out and have a good game. Wiggs, two-way Wiggs came out with 25. 25. 7 boards, 5 assists, and incredible defense on the other end. There was a point in the game where he started picking Bron up, like way out past half court. And I know someone asked me like, do you like Wiggs picking up that high out? Like, why is he picking up Bron? So, and I said, that's the competitive juices. Like, what do you mean, do you like it or why is he doing it? Because when you're out there on the floor and the juices, you like, you get the competitive juices flowing, you just go with it. And so in that moment he's like, forget that, I'm picking him up. And like on one of those plays I was able to get the block on AD behind because I just, when you got a guy that's doing that, that's putting that effort out there regardless of what it is, when you're, you have to be beyond, behind the play ready to react. Yeah. When he's picking up like that fool, he has to know somebody got me covered if I get beat. Because the reality is, hey, you know, we know what a force, such a force that Bron is coming downhill. But the reality is there's so much space to give someone a running start. For him to pick him up that way, like, he has to know, and you have to ensure that he knows, if I do that, someone has my back. And everybody had his back and it was absolutely great. I think people tend to forget that's Wiggs' 12th game in 3 and a half months. So you're starting to see more of the putbacks and dunks and the legs coming back and it's absolutely coming at a great time because we needed not only, well, first off to get back control of this series and win this series, but also moving forward. Oh, we know how important Wiggs is to everything we do, especially come playoff time. So that's huge. GP too, Gary Payton, man, he's playing incredible basketball, +25 in 27 minutes. That is why you trade 5 second round picks for Gary Payton II, to bring him back to help you win a championship because you know the impact that he has on the game on both sides of the floor. Absolutely amazing competitor. And he got it honest. As we know, his pops was one of the greatest competitors and growing up watching that, he took some of that and does it in a totally different way, right? Like way more toned down than his pops, much quieter, much nicer in a sense. Yeah. Oh, GGP was an asshole at times talking a bunch of cash. I loved it. You know, one of the guys I have the utmost respect for. And so, you know, it's good to see GP having the series that he's having, especially after not playing a bunch early. You know, you make those adjustments and you need guys to step up and he's been stepping up. Moses Moody has been stepping up. Moses Moody has given us great minutes. Was riding with Moses last night. I was dropping him off at home and I said, Mo, how crazy is it to you that like, You guarding LeBron James in the playoffs? He said, "Man, it's crazy." He said, "That's my matchup. Like I'm guarding him, he guarding me." And I said, that's incredible, man. Like couple years ago you was in high school, you're guarding LeBron James, he's guarding you in the playoffs. That's incredible. Enjoy those moments. Keep doing what you're doing, playing hard the way you're playing, controlling what you can control. He's been giving us great minutes. Shout out to the young— Draymond Green. Young champion, Moses Moody. Klay did not have a, had another rough shooting night, but his imprint was all over the game. Number one, whether he's having a rough shooting night, dude, just what Klay does for your spacing, teams aren't gonna help off him at all. And so opens the floor up regardless. And like I said, I would love to see them give him some open looks if they think, oh man, he's not shooting well, we can help off. That'd be great. Yeah. His defense, his competitiveness, he had his imprint all over the game. He was really, really good defensively. And got into the paint a couple times, broke the defense down and kicked it out. Like, took 11 shots, by the way. Wasn't forcing anything, wasn't forcing shots. It was absolutely incredible. Incredible. And at some point he's gonna have a big shooting night. And we know that and we trust and we believe in that. Hopefully it's game 6, Clay. That would be nice. But definitely looking forward to that. JP had a much better game last night. Just more aggressive on both sides of the ball. And you know, his shot still didn't fall at the rate we're accustomed to it falling at or at the rate that he wants it at. You don't just come out of a slump guns blazing. You, you get it back step by step. And so seeing him as aggressive as he was, taking good shots last night, um, now you start to build on that. You start to see more shots fall, and I think that's huge. Uh, so it was great to see him looking more like himself, uh, last night. And I enjoyed that. I got a chance to see the great Matthew McConaughey. Um, after the game. It's absolutely incredible to meet him, uh, with the great Marc Benioff, uh, founder of Salesforce, CEO of Salesforce, maybe stepped down as CEO of Salesforce, by the way. Not sure, I haven't kept up with that news over the last couple years. I know he was stepping down, then maybe not. Uh, but you know, Marc's great. I've had the opportunity to spend some time with him a couple times. Absolutely incredible person. What he's done here in the city of San Francisco is incredible. What he's done for business as a whole in the world is absolutely amazing. One of the perks of playing for the Golden State Warriors is like you're around greats like Mark Benioff and Eddie Cue, and like the list goes on and on and on. We're lucky to be around those types of people and learning from them and rubbing elbows. Like, it's absolutely incredible. You're talking about some of the best in the world at what they do. So I'm always appreciative of that. Before we— oh, Jackson wanted to know what the conversation was with Zach Zarba about me quieting down. I saw people saying, oh man, Draymond asked for a tech and he didn't get a tech. Well, the reason I didn't get a tech is because what Zach was telling me he was going to tech me for was for talking to the other team, not for talking to him. I wasn't having much of a conversation with him. The conversation with Zach was about me talking to the other team. And so he said like, Draymond, I'm gonna tech you. I said, Zach, you're gonna have to. You're gonna have to not. Because me and him was in some argument and I told him to tek me because I was talking to him. So for those of you that's out here making it out like, oh, they just wouldn't tek Draymond, he wouldn't tek Draymond because what he told me he was tekking me for wasn't occurring at the time that he said he was gonna tek me. And so what did I do? I continued to talk, but I toned it down. I didn't make it so obvious that you all could tell that I was talking, but I continued. Yeah.— it's a part of the game. It's a closeout game. And you know what Zach said, man? Zach, as we all know, is one of the best officials in the NBA. He said, Draymond, I know it's a high emotion game. And that right there, like, that understanding is huge. Like, so many people don't understand that part of it. It's like, oh man, every game's the same. And I always tell you guys, it's so cliché. Every game isn't the same. Like, the emotions isn't the same for every game. And so like just to have a great official like Zach Zahra to understand that, it's like, yo, every game's not the same. Like the emotions in this game is extremely high. I understand that. That's huge. That's huge. Absolutely huge. Because what it does is it allows for a better product for our fans. You know, like fans wanna see guys going at it. And it allows for a better product as opposed to like treating it like a regular season game. Like, oh man, guys are talking, they're a little emotional. Like, nah, it's different. It's a closeout game. It's a playoff game. Like backs against the wall, season's on the line. You can respect guys who understand the way Zach does. Absolutely incredible. So that was the conversation for all of you that may have thought I was cursing Zach out. I wasn't cursing Zach out at all. Wasn't the case. He was telling me to shut the hell up. That was what was going on, but not to him. And so once the conversation continued with him, I'm saying, "Zach, you're going to have to tech me." That was that. Anyway, um, before we move on, I'd be remiss, and I apologize for taking so long to say this, Praying for Jamie Foxx. Jamie Foxx, I've had the honor of getting to know him since 2014, '15. One of the best human beings you'll meet. Absolutely incredible person. There hasn't been much info released. I've heard a few things. I'm not gonna go into them because that's not my business. That's not my place. But I just hope some of the info that's come out lately isn't true. Jamie Foxx is a staple in the culture. He's a staple in the community. He's a staple in Hollywood. One of the best ever. One of the most talented human beings on planet Earth. One of the hardest working people on planet Earth. Jamie Foxx is an incredible comedian. He's an incredible singer. He's an incredible actor. And quite frankly, I feel like I'm leaving something off the list. I mean, you're talking about a guy that's great at like all of those things. Like it's so rare, impersonating people. His performance in Ray was absolutely insane. Ray. Like was nuts. Like he played Ray Charles like, I couldn't believe it. Such a pillar in everything we have gone and the progress that we've made in Hollywood as African Americans. I just hope and pray that he's okay, that he stays strong and fights and gets through what he's going through. Praying for his family, sending my love and well wishes. Because to all of us, he's like the most talented person in the world. He's absolutely amazing. Like, we've had the honor and pleasure of watching him from all these years. Jamie Foxx Show is one of my favorite shows. Mm-hmm. That's what he is to us, right? Like, but he's a dad, he's a friend, like a son, like to his family. And like every day they're living with that void of him being in the hospital, him not being the Jamie that he's been, the rock that he's been for them. For so long. And so I'm praying for them, praying for him, um, and wishing him well. Like I said, I would be remiss if I didn't say that, uh, again, or now. And I do apologize for not saying it for so long. I was just— such little information, didn't know much, so didn't want to, you know, just start speaking and not knowing what's going on. And so I still don't know a ton. Like I said, I've heard some things, but it's not my place to share those. But prayers up, uh, for his family. Prayers up for Jamie. Um, wishing him and hoping and praying for a speedy recovery. And getting back to basketball, uh, the Knicks extends the series with a 112-103 win over the Heat. Jalen Brunson, uh, played 48 minutes, had 38, 7, and 9. I must say I'm very surprised that Miami Heat has not gone to Jimmy Butler on Jaylen Brunson. Gabe Vincent is doing an incredible job of competing. He just don't have the size. He doesn't have the size. And I personally think, like, Jaylen is everything for them. Like, he makes the team go. Like, he's getting them into their sets. He's getting his stuff. Julius Randle had a much better game last night after starting 1 of 7. Finished with 24. But Jalen's the engine. And you have a guy in Jimmy Butler who's capable of guarding him. I'm shocked the Miami Heat hasn't gone to that. Maybe that's a Game 6 adjustment, we'll see. But Miami's headed back home in Game 6 with an opportunity to close. Yeah. Uh, I think it's very dangerous that they allowed Julius Randle to get going. You definitely wanted to keep him on ice, uh, keep his confidence low. They allowed him to get going. Makes Game 6 a lot tougher. Like I said though, one thing I think can help with Game 6 is if they put Jimmy Butler on Jalen Brunson. Looking to see if they'll make that adjustment. But I watched that game, um, late last night and You had Duncan Robinson with a 3 on the wing down 105 to 101. He hits that 3, makes it a 1-point game. Could change everything. In turn, he misses it. They go down. Jimmy steps up off Mitchell Robinson's body on the drive. They drop it off. They get a dunk. They go up 6. Fast forward, Duncan Robinson had another 3 from the top of the key. Missed it again. Jimmy had 2 free throws down 3, missed the first one. I said all that to say they had every opportunity to win that game. They let one get away. Gotta go make it right in game 6. You do not wanna return to Madison Square Garden in game 7 with them Knicks fans. Woo! So they gotta go get it done. They let a golden opportunity slip away last night. So be looking to see how they bounce back. In other news, the 76ers dominated the Celtics in Game 5. Joel had 33 and 7 boards. I said after Game 4, we expect Boston to go home and respond, but Joel gonna have something to say about that. Yeah. And boy, did he. What I thought was impressive about that game, I watched the entire game. Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, James Harden, Joel Embiid, all got had good nights. And then PJ Tucker did what PJ Tucker does. They got a lot from those guys. They pretty much controlled the entire game from start to finish. And I didn't like what I saw from Boston. I started seeing some finger pointing. This is your fault. Guys slumping their shoulders and dropping their heads. I didn't love what I saw. And now you're on the ropes going on the road for game 6 in Philly. It's tough. Boston's in a tough, tough spot. Can they go win? Of course they can go win. Of course they can. In order to go win though, they're gonna, like, yes, Jalen Brown has to play great. Yes, Jayson Tatum has to play great, Marcus Smart and all that. But they're gonna need a much better Robert Williams. Robert Williams, he just hasn't looked the same to me in this series. And he's such a force. So they're gonna need a much better Robert Williams., in this Game 6, and if there's a Game 7, if they're gonna take this series. Uh, can't be all Al Horford. Um, he didn't shoot as well last game. So we'll see how it turns out. I think Philly goes home and close it. I definitely think they go home and close it. Uh, you cannot let this opportunity slip away. You went and did what you had to do in Game 5. I got Philly going home and close it. And lastly, we got the Nuggets versus the Suns. Nuggets took a 3-2 lead. Joker had 29, 13, and 12. Bruce Brown has been the key to the series. 25 points off the bench. As great as the 25 points is, his defense on Kevin Durant has been amazing. Like, he is competing. He's getting underneath K. He's making him uncomfortable. Bruce Brown was one of the best offseason additions to any team. Him, KCP, they've really helped take that Denver team to another level. And for him to have the game that he had in game 6, he's also guarding Book some, he's guarding KD some, he's competing, man. He letting you hear about it. I love it. I love what Bruce Brown is doing. But in order to close this series out, they're going to need a good Jamal Murray in order to close this series out. Do they close it out in 6? I don't think so. I think this thing goes 7. They're obviously more than capable of closing it out, but I think this thing goes 7. Dee Book finally had an off night, which none of us thought was possible. 8 for 19 from the field, by the way. We're talking about he had an off night. That's not an awful night, but just, the standard that he set. That is an off night for Devin Booker right now. And you know, I think one of the most impressive things about what D-Book has been doing is it's still been all tough shots. Like at one point I think he was like 32 or 33 for 40. Tough twos, like they're not easy shots. They're tough floaters, they're over two defenders. Like even his threes have been tough, but he finally had a, tougher night. They're gonna need a great Devin Booker and a great Kevin Durant. They're gonna need a Landry Shamet from game 4 in game 6. Heard Ayden's a little banged up. He hasn't given them much, but I'm sure you still need his presence and a big body versus Joker. So we'll see what happens there with Phoenix. I saw Joker and Matt Ishbia make up. I must say, I thought the little ball toss was a slight. Like, here, motherfucker, take this. Like, I thought, that's what I thought of the ball toss. That's just me. I could be a little messy, I don't know. But that's what I took away from the little ball toss. Like, here, you want the ball? Here, go on, man. It's all cool. No, but it was good to see. Also, I appreciated Matt Ishbia for coming out after the game and saying, listen, man, we don't wanna see nobody suspended. We trying to play this game. Respect the fact that he flopped and tried to get Joker thrown out the game. Like both on great on both fronts. Like come on man, let's stop trying to get games. I do not respect when guys go ask for a guy to get suspended or like, oh man, we'll see what the league does. Like stop it, stop it. One thing we all know is that the league listens to everything when it comes to suspensions and fines. They listen to those things. And as a competitor, do you really want a guy suspended? We watched that change the Sacramento Kings series. Careful what you ask for. But I respected Matt Spartan dog style. Come out like, we ain't begging for nobody to get suspended. We want a team at full strength. So shout out to Matt Ishby on that. That was absolutely incredible. Happy the league didn't suspend Joker. I saw Dame Dollaz tweet like, yeah, I don't think he should be suspended, but if that was Draymond. And boy, all I could do is laugh because, well, we do know. That's neither here nor there. Let's get into these NBA awards. Yours truly made second team all defense. It's like a backhanded compliment, like a backhanded slap in the face. Like, hey man, you're one of the best defenders. Hey, you're second team. Like, come on, man. I find it to be funny in a sense. Like, I definitely think I had a first team all defense type of year. Now you take into account we didn't win as many games. But like, did other teams win that many more games? Or is it because we had an off year to our standards? Interesting. In saying that, congratulations to all the guys that did make first team. Congratulations to all the guys that did make second team. I think first team was Alex Caruso, Drew Holliday, Jaren Jackson Jr., Brook Lopez, and don't you say this, Jackson, I know who it is. Brook Lopez and Evan Mobley was first team. Second team was yours truly, Bam Adebayo, Dylan Brooks. I need help with these last two, Jackson. Two guards, Eastern Conference. 2 guards Eastern Conference. Eastern Conference 2 guards. Man, this is a tough one, but it'll come to me. Give me one second. Derek White. Yes, sir. Was second team All-Defense. And the last one was— Third wing. He's like me. He's a big, big 2. It wasn't Jimmy Butler, was it? Nope. No. Ah, who is it? I know this, let me see. So how I come up with these things is like I start going down the list of teams. It's nobody on the New York Knicks. It's nobody on the Brooklyn Nets. Although I was shocked that Mikal Bridges did not make All-Defense team. Wasn't anybody on the Brooklyn Nets. Not Indiana, not Detroit. So then you start going down the list. Not Charlotte, not Washington, not Orlando. Correct. Not Atlanta. Correct. More Eastern Conference teams. Not Indiana. Or was it Indiana? Nope. No, not Indiana. I'm missing a couple Eastern Conference. Toronto, OG Anunoby. Yes, sir. That is the last one on second team all defense. First timer, congratulations OG. Congratulations to all the first timers. I think Caruso was a first timer, Evan Mobley was a first timer, Derek White was a first timer. So congrats to those guys. Absolute incredible honor. I know I just said it's a backhanded slap in the face. And quite frankly, I feel like that to myself, but don't get it twisted. I am always thankful, thankful to all the voters for acknowledging me in defense, you know. I don't take it for granted. That's 8 times for me in 11 years. The 3 being my first 2 years, I didn't play a ton. And then 2020, we stunk and won 15 games. Those were the 3 I didn't make. So I'm always thankful and honored to be acknowledged, especially like I said, when it comes to All-Defensive Teams, it's something I take very seriously. And next year I'm looking forward to getting my first team stamp back so I can walk around like Pat Bev with my one finger up saying first team. The originator, Tony Allen, by the way, no disrespect to the great, one of the GOAT defenders, Tony Allen. As you all know, I got a bunch of respect for him. And before we get outta here, lastly, All-NBA First Team, let's talk about this. Number 1. Draymond Green. Jimmy Butler, Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, and Dame Dolla would not have made it under this new CBA rule. And so now you take those guys off. Do we really think all 5 of those guys should not make All-NBA? That's what you all were complaining about. That's what you all were begging for. That's what you're up against. Those 5 guys. Yeah. Would not have made All-NBA once this new CBA starts. That's an interesting one. And I'm not sure that that's the right thing. As I said before, I don't love it. You're gonna get guys on there that don't deserve it. And quite frankly, I just think that's whack. Congratulations, Shay, Gilgeous-Alexander, first team All-NBA, first time. Uh, JT, back-to-back first team All-NBAs. Lucas, probably, this is probably his fourth straight first team All-NBA or something like that. Giannis and Joel Embiid rounds out first team All-NBA. Second team All-NBA, Steph, Donovan Mitchell, Jaylen Brown, Jimmy Butler, Nikola Jokic. Jaylen Brown, really big time for Jaylen Brown. Sucks for you Jackson and Boston fans because that puts Jaylen Brown up for, I think, a $250 million extension. I think more than that. Which is absolutely insane. M-I-S-S-O-N-E-S. That's nuts. Congratulations to Jaylen Brown. Absolutely. I love nothing more than seeing guys get paid in this league. So congratulations to him. He said he was going out there to get it. I also respect a guy who's not afraid to speak on his goal and then go take it. He did that, he earned it. Now y'all gonna have $500 million tied up between two players. I absolutely love it and they're absolutely deserving of it and Boston has to do it. You can't let those guys walk. So what are you gonna do? It is what it is. That's an interesting one. But it's a great one. Congratulations to those guys and third team, Dame Dolla, De'Aaron Fox, Julius Randle. LeBron James and Sabonis. Some omissions here. Ja Morant misses out on a Supermax. Unbelievable. I also saw Donovan Mitchell say, "FOH," about being on second team. So who should you have been on first team over Donovan? We would love to know. I would love to know. Just wanna know the opinion. Yeah. But Ja Morant misses out on a supermax deal. And I must say, this is all due to what he had going on off the court. He was 11th in the NBA in scoring, 5th in assists, team was 2nd in the West. It's all due to what he had going on off the court, which absolutely sucks because his play on the court, —was all NBA-level play. I think you get a very motivated Ja Morant coming back next year, feeling snubbed, feeling slighted, feeling like the underdog again. I'll look out for Ja. Bam Adebayo was another guy that was not on there. Now you got Jimmy Butler on the second team. They were an 8th seed. Or 7 seed, but now 8 seed. Can you, can you put Bam on there and they're that low of a seed? You can have 2 guys on the All-NBA team. That's tough. So I understand that one. There were a few more snubs, but as we know, it's 15 spots. Like you can only have— D-Book wasn't on there. KD wasn't on there. You can only have 15 guys. Sucks. That's the reality. That's also a wrap from this episode of the Draymond Green Show. Talk to y'all after Game 6, the next day. Peace. What's up everybody? It's Draymond Green.
