Will Jonathan Kuminga fit with Jimmy Butler on new-look Warriors? | Draymond Green & Baron Davis

In this episode of the fan‑focused "Get At Me" show, Draymond Green and former NBA star Baron Davis field listener questions and chat informally about NBA topics. They start by addressing a fan query on how Jonathan Kuminga (JK) might fit alongside Jimmy Butler on the Warriors, noting Butler’s adaptability and Kuminga’s talent while expressing optimism that the two will eventually click. The conversation then shifts to the duo’s favorite small‑market arenas where the Warriors have had the most fun, naming Orlando, Washington, D.C., Memphis, Indiana, and Portland, and highlighting Cleveland as a special venue because of past championships. The hosts later dive into March Madness, bantering about Michigan State’s bracket prospects versus UCLA, making bold predictions (MSU reaching the Final Four) and proposing a friendly bet. Throughout, the tone remains conversational, humorous, and fan‑centric, with repeated encouragement for listeners to submit more questions.

What's up everybody? This is Get At Me with your boy Draymond Green and my dawg Baron Davis, BD.
What's happening?
That's actually what this is. This is Get At Me. This is where we will answer fans' questions. So make sure you shoot your questions. You might get an answer. I'll take the first one from Syed, S-Y-E-D 93463. Zero. How well would JK fit with Jimmy? I don't know. What I do know is Jimmy kind of know how to play with anybody and JK has a lot of talent and Jimmy will figure out how to use that talent to the advantage of this team and we will figure that out. So I don't know how well they'll fit, but I do know at some point they will because they gonna figure it out and making it work. But JK, we looking forward to getting him back for sure.
All right, from Solo Sequoia, S-O-L-O-S-E-Q-O-I-A. S-I-K-O-A. All right, I heard Draymond mention the other day that Orlando was one of Steph's top 5 small market arenas to play in. What are or were your guys' top 5 smaller markets to play in?
So you have to understand for us, like when we go to certain places, it ain't like if the Charlotte Hornets go to that place. Like where we go, Steph Curry Show, it's sold out, it's loud. And so we were just discussing like smaller markets and like how, like where we had the most fun in the smaller markets. And one of 'em was like, every time we play in Orlando, it's a good game.
Yeah.
The fans turn out, we always have fun there. Another one we discussed was Washington. Like when we go to Washington, it get loud, fans be talking trash. It's just something about DC. And then also, you know, the years we had KD on, you going back to his hometown.
Oh yeah, for sure.
You know what I'm saying? Washington has always been a fun one. Obviously Memphis. Memphis, they crowd, they hate us.
Yeah.
Absolutely hate us. And so it's always fun to go play there. Smaller market team that, again, I'm not sure what Memphis attendance is, you know, nightly, but I know when we go there, always sold out, always super loud, always rowdy. And so that was another one of the favorites. The last two were Indiana.
Yeah.
Indiana's always lit. We played it lit. And it was one more, Portland.
Mm-hmm.
Like we've had battles in Portland, obviously in the playoffs. You know, we have a lot of fun in that arena. We've spent a bunch of time there. And so those were kind of our top 5 arenas that we'd like to play in, in the smaller markets, you know, not the state. Not the TV Garden, not Madison Square Garden, and the smaller market, like those were our top 5.
Yeah, I played in smaller markets, so, you know, loved Indiana, loved Portland, going out west to Portland. Milwaukee was always crazy rivalry. I don't know if Miami is a small market, but I consider Miami small. And then I would say Dallas, you know, Dallas was always jumping. But we play, I play for New Orleans, Charlotte, Cleveland. Cleveland was rocking too. Cleveland is a great arena, a great place to play too.
Yeah. Cleveland, Cleveland is great for us as well.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
It's just special though. You know what I'm saying? Like we won championships in there. So that, that kind of goes in a little different category for us. It's always lit for sure. But we got a different thing with Cleveland. You know what I'm saying? Like, You play somewhere, somebody 4 years in a row in the NBA Finals, they see us every year, we see them, we know they go, we gonna see them, they know they gonna see us. It's just a different thing there. So I don't really put them in that category, although they're a small market, because it's just a different level of like special and that arena.
Yeah, no, I get it. All right, March Madness is starting next week. How far do you have your Spartan dogs going? I can tell you they're not gonna make the tournament. They're not getting in this year. It's okay.
Who not getting in the tournament this year?
Y'all not getting in.
Brother, we about to be a 1 seed. What you talking about?
In the tournament?
We about to, what?
1 seed.
You realize who you talking to? We 15-3 in the Big Ten.
Oh, for real? Y'all weak.
Do you realize who you talking to? I went to Middle State.
Y'all gonna lose in the— Second round.
You do realize I went to Michigan State. I think you might have me confused with like some other school. I went to Michigan State and it's Mark. I played for Tom Izzo, Mark. Second round, yeah, Mark.
Second round.
We never lose in the second round. If we win the first game of the weekend, we're winning the second game.
You're getting out that weekend, huh?
It is, tell you, you win me the first game, I win you the second game. Second round is a, just you not knowing again. So I'm gonna help you out. If you want a successful bracket, you better have Michigan State at least in your Final Four.
Ah, hell nah.
All right, then bet something.
Nah, I don't, I'm tired. Oh yeah, let's do a bracket.
I bet you we make it further than trash ass UCLA.
I don't know what seed we gonna get.
Just so you know, by the way, you're making me turn into this person. I actually love UCLA. I love it. Kids love UCLA. We live right up the street from UCLA.
Hey man, we in the Big Ten now. We rivals.
Rivals. But just stop.
We rivals.
We are not. Stop.
I mean, yeah, y'all can't even compare. Y'all can't be rivals to us. The big dogs came into the Big Ten.
Y'all ain't done nothing meaningful since John Wooden. He last coached, he coached his last 40 years or so. Oh my God. He coached his last game 40 years ago. Oh, come on, man. He coached his last game.
That's disrespect to the Bruins.
Bitty, John Wooden coached his last game.
I don't say that. Would you say that to Kevon Looney?
He don't.
Absolutely not.
He played for Steve Offer. Right. It don't matter. Steve Offer got fired from Iowa.
Steve Offer was not the right guy.
That's what I'm saying, like you—
I ain't gonna lie, we need us a Tom Izzo. Maybe Earl Watson. He's not a top basketball coach right now. We need like a, we need somebody to be there for 20 years. If I gotta go back, I'll do it. I'll become the Tom Izzo of the Bruins. Listen, we would smack UCLA. I mean, we would smack Michigan State if I was the coach of UCLA. Bro, we would, we would beat y'all like 30.
Y'all beat us on some fluke stuff this year, but only fluky. Guy's first time being on the U2 and probably felt the sun, felt, got a little soft.
We used to being in the cold. Y'all not the same Michigan State no more.
It won't happen again. It won't happen again.
Y'all not the same Michigan State no more.
I don't even know if y'all gonna make the Big Ten tournament.
The tournament, come on.
You have to make the Big Ten tournament.
We made it. We what, 4th, 5th in the Big Ten?
Are y'all that high? I doubt it.
Yeah, I think we 4th and 5th.
Anyway.
We can win down the stretch. That I know. We got defense.
If you want a successful—
Don't do that. You gonna lose your office bracket.
All right.
Best Sweet 16, maybe Elite Eight for you guys.
No, no, no, no. Why you keep moving up? First you said 32, now 16, now Elite Eight. Keep going. I know you know.
No, I do not think Final Four at all.
64.
At all. At all. If y'all go to, if y'all go to 8, if y'all go to Elite 8, y'all done. But I don't think y'all making it out the second round, to be honest. I hope we play y'all second round too so we can, so we can beat y'all again. That's a hot take. Is that a hot take?
Very hot. Burn it. Burn it up. Oh, which one of those hot takes are you willing to put your money on? Or we ain't gotta— we could bet anything.
Here's the bet. Since Michigan State is number 1 seed, I bet you Michigan State don't go 2 rounds past UCLA.
Bet.
Good. I bet my bracket and all the fans on my side, they're gonna agree with my bracket over your bracket, and we should turn a bracket in.
We should 100%. We will turn a bracket in.
'Cause I wanna see how much You know, if Michigan's, if you gonna have Michigan State to win it all being the number one seed, you should.
I mean, let us get the number one seed first. We still gotta close out this Big Ten tournament.
This big— Oh my God. That sounds like excuses.
We'll be, no, I'm just saying, we'll be, by the way, whether we're a one seed or a five seed, we going to Final Four. I ain't tripping on that. I'm just, let us get the number one seed first because we still need to win. Like we need to win out. —to get the number 3. But in saying that, I don't care if we 3, we going to Final Four.
All right, you heard it from here, ladies and gentlemen. Hot take, Michigan State in the Final Four.
That ain't, that's pretty cold. It ain't that hot. Like, that's normal, what we do.
Just so y'all don't wanna see us in the tournament.
Y'all stink.
We got y'all number.
To these 4 that we answered, thank you for submitting those. To those that, did submit and didn't quite make the show, please submit further, and we will continue to try to cycle through, get you on the show, answer some of your questions, make sure we taking care of the fans. We love y'all, we appreciate y'all.
Peace.
Peace.
