Chris Larcombe proposes AR glasses that overlay a real-time map showing communities, resources, skills, and problems in red, solutions in green. Young people would use this to become active co-creators solving the planet's energy transition instead of choosing between jobs or university.

You know, it's where it is now and where it's going. And really where it's going is, when you leave school, you're faced with a choice, aren't you? You're faced with a choice generally. It's either a job or university. I mean, that's what I perceived when I was that age. It was like, okay, either you get a job or you go to uni, yeah? And you're in a program there because both of those institutions, both of those are a paradigm that doesn't work, and we all know that. We really seriously get that now. So like, there must be another path. Yeah. And the vision for me is, yeah, we're not going to like destroy anything, but we're going to create something new. And it's going to be job, uni, or become a co-creator of the planet. Become a co-creator with humanity to positively transform this planet into a thriving experience. a thriving, abundant world where we can share everything. Because if we share everything, it will be abundant, right? We all know that as well. So the technology can help us to do that. And my vision is that you leave school and you put on these augmented reality glasses, which are being developed right now in California by several different companies, I think including Google now. They recently bought someone up. You put on these augmented reality glasses, yeah, and you just see You see overlaid on your vision the New Earth. You see all the communities, all the resources they're sharing, the intentions they have, the skills, the passions, the visions that people have in those communities. You can see the problems and the solutions. Every— the problems are visualized as being red and the solutions green. And every corporation is mapped. The whole supply chain is visible, and we can just, like, totally empower our youth with this technology. They will be so informed. They will be more informed than the politicians. We can collaboratively map the energy of the planet, precisely what we need to make this transition happen. We can map all the solutions systematically.
