4.1.24 Working From Home Podcast: Life Be Lifin'

Episode of the "Working From Home" podcast (hosts Justin R. Lester and Courtney) recorded April 1, 2024. The hosts trade personal updates (marriage anniversary, son turning seven, graduations), discuss sports and pop culture (March Madness, Love Is Blind reunion), and spend substantial time on technology and theology — Justin promotes his book The Church of AI and reflects on how AI and robotics intersect with faith and work. They also describe an upcoming relationships event (Rel Remix) and other community activities.

Hey, everybody. I'm Justin.
And I'm Courtney.
And you guys are tuned into working from home. I'm so glad you're here and we're happy to have all of you here. It's springtime.
It's springtime. Officially. Officially it is. We've been rained out here in California for a long time for the winter season, but I would take rain over snow, but 1000 times 100.
Let's see. It is the. We're heading into the Final Four this upcoming weekend. I'm super excited about it. Courtney made fun of me because a couple weeks ago when March Madness first started, I literally sat on the couch from 11 to 1 o' clock in the morning.
I am a huge. I. I love basketball. I really do. I enjoy basketball. I enjoy watching it. We even went to some games. So women's NCAA tournament games at State, Stanford. We're. We're huge. College or just any type of women's ball fans with wnba, we love it all. So I'm right there with you. But it was like. I mean, it was from like 7 to 7. It was like excessive.
And I was like, it's 9 to 7.
Is this still on? It was like 9 to 9 about the time the game was over. I'm like, you still what? I mean, how much? How many?
You never want to miss the buzzer beater.
He has four games going on at one time.
And you just switch between. You can't watch commercials. Like when I was in college and when I was in high school, I used to have. Because you only can have one game at a time. So I'd have multiple TVs, plus my computers and like iPad up. And so it'd be like all this stuff. So now that you can actually do four at a time. It's super awesome. So that's where we've been. I also put out a book now.
Okay, so let's talk about that though. I want to talk about the book, but I want to go back to what you just said. So it's okay for sports fanat to like to do watch basketball. I have four on the screen, have it up on the computer, have it on your phone, have everything like that. But what if I did that to, like, home shows? What if I did that to reality TV shows? What if I did that to like that? Then I would be judged. Like, I would love to have four reality TV shows.
That's why YouTube doesn't even give you the option because YouTube knows that's foolish.
Or like four home shows that would be amazing. What about four home shows at the same time where I never have to watch a commercial or four. Something like that. I really like. Like, that's judgment. But then, like, who's judging you?
This is so. Okay, well, Henry. No, no, no, no. I would not judge you, Henry. No one in his work here now says this.
Oh my.
No, he says. Literally, he said, that's why Jesus comes along and he says, judge not because you should be judged. And he says, like, there's no need to judge others or to fear being judged. Right? Because that means literally you are bowing down to somebody else. So, like, if I'm. If I'm. My life is based upon my possessions and somebody else's priority. I'm literally waiting for someone to judge me or I'm looking to judge other people because they don't have what I have. Right. So there's no judgment. It's just YouTube just thinks that's stupid. So they don't even give you the option.
I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding. I think it'd be funny. I don't see why not. I don't see why not. They only give the option for sports. But. But I think, I think you can set up Multi View, though, if you.
Really want justice for.
I think you can set up. But you don't even watch the shows with commercials. You. You watch them on Discovery tv. Discovery doesn't give you that option. So you don't watch them live. Like, you're not sitting now waiting for HGTV to come on at 8 o' clock at night.
I am.
You're not waiting for the show to come out at 8 o'. Clock. As soon as it comes out at midnight, you watch the new episode.
Right. So I'm waiting for the new episodes.
But you're not watching it with commercials. So think about Multi View is. It's live tv. You watch the recorded version.
Oh, yeah, whatever.
But discover.
You have a book out.
Yeah, I do. I wrote a book called the Church of AI. Yeah, it was crazy. It's something I've been sitting on for a minute, but it's about theology, ethics, the tech pasta. Yeah. So you can follow my Instagram and my Facebook page called that Tech Pastor, where all I do is talk about AI Robotics, the future. Did you know this recent research showed that the use of ChatGPT at work has gone from 8% to 20%? It's a slow rise, but it's not necessarily taking over. But once again, AI is not gonna replace humans. It's gonna Replace those who don't use it. And so while 80% of people still aren't using it at all. Well, consciously, because it was funny. We were talking to your mom, right? Shout out Mama Jones. You know you're listening. We're talking to your mom. And she was like, why are you writing a book on AI? And it was just like, I guarantee you in the first 45 minutes of your day, you use it at least 17 times.
You did. You schooled her. She was like, I gotta get the book down. Because I didn't know I used AI So much.
Predictive text giving you weather. That's location analytics. I mean, there's so many different things. Just even like your oven and your washer and your dryer, unless you're doing literal analog stuff right now, everything is pretty much has built in. Even our coffee machine. I mean, built in it. Exactly.
Really, when you see the simplicity of machines, I think that just opens your world. We went to the interactive Tech Museum in San Jose. Yeah, we went to the Interactive Tech Museum with cam. And it was so. I think we had more fun maybe than CAM because it was so interactive.
Oh, yeah.
But seeing like how complex machines can be, but also how simple they can be as well. Like the first robot that you have in your homes and everybody has is probably a vacuum cleaner in a washer and dryer. Those are the first early types of robots that we have that we just kind of don't see it like that. But they're the first types of robots. And how today we can make a robot do pretty much anything that we need to do, because it's just inputs and output.
That's it. Input, output. And you know, you begin to even like lights in our homes that we wave. That's robotics. You know, dishwashers, ovens. I mean, all those different things are robotic. And so, yeah, so that book details it. It's for pastors, leaders, and just really the average person, the goal is just. It's a theology of it. So if you're looking like, you know, I get the question all the time, like, where's AI in the Bible? And your phone ain't either. But, you know, it's a way that I believe. Paul was the first Facebook. And like, he just literally wrote. He took a new form of communication letter writing, because it used to be oral stories. He took a new form communication letter writing, sent it to different communities, people to like, share and subscribe to this stuff. And he got killed for it. And then Gutenberg Express comes along and just copies what Paul did on a larger level. And then Facebook comes along and copies what they did on a larger level. And yeah, you guys should see the stuff that's happening in the videos talking about humanoid robots. And there's some stuff coming down the line that, you know, we're over here analog, like our church. I'm really proud of our church. We just went away from giving in the sanctuary to giving as you exit, and we're going to end up putting some robotic stuff in the hallway if the Lord says so that you can give and tap to give. And had a member of the church company, an event we had last week who was like, I can't believe we have, like, scan to give now. And I'm like, absolutely. Like, you have to. The cash is. Does not rule everything around you anymore. But, you know, your bank account and your day trading and your bitcoin does, so. But something else I know that happened court, that you have not brought, that I know you've been wanting to bring to the podcast, was that love is blind.
You know, So I haven't been on social media for the past few weeks just for, like, just to cleanse my heart, my mind. No, I did not.
I'm just playing.
I thought.
I'm like, this.
Yeah, I was playing. Yeah. So, like, I haven't really been influenced by commentary from other people, so this is just my own personal commentary on what I think about things and what I see. So I was kind of disappointed with the reunion. I. I did watch the reunion last week. I didn't finish it all, but I kind of wanted some more to come out about why, what, how all these different things that I feel like I did not get of understanding. But there was some shockers and some surprise. I'm like, a few weeks behind when it, like, actually ended when. But that's just crazy about, like. So there was a couple on there, the black couple. And to the camera, everything was, like, going well. Like, everything was going well. She was really into him, you know, So I got my phrase in. She said something so powerful. She was like, you know, I really love this man. Like, I will follow him off a cliff without a parachute. And I was like, wow, that is powerful love. I was like, I feel the same way about Jess. I mean, she was really into it. Like, the. The parents. His parents were, like, very wise and just encouraging, really great mentors for both of them. And he was too. But there was like something like, you know, like a sense of reservation that you can see in someone. So anyway, they make it all the way to, like, the altar, right? And that's the point. You have to make it to the altar to say whether or not you're gonna say yes to marriage. So they go through this. I mean, wedding dress on. Walking down the aisle. The officiant asks her like, do you take Clay? And she's like, I do, yes. I love you. All this stuff. And then he's like, clay, do you take ad? And he's like, it just wouldn't be responsible for me to say yes.
So one of the things I will say, I don't talk relationships often, but you like talking relationships. I'll do it. One of the things is guys have their minds made up at the first look. Like, I knew when I saw Courtney because her stuff was just.
No, I was not. I had on a turtleneck. I will show you. I have to find a picture anyway. I will find a picture.
I had a Finish my statement.
No, I was. I'm telling my mom playing.
Okay.
But she was being fly.
Said it anyway. Guys have their minds made up from not just the first look, but guys see with their eyes and then think with their hearts eventually. And then they share it, right? They see with their eyes and then they think with their hearts eventually. And then they share with their mouths, right? And so. And then they share really not sharp with their vows in action. So, like, see, think, feel, and then do. Right? And so even hearing that. And I remember hearing the story, I loved when someone. Before I got on socials too, someone showed the video of the former wife. Former. His former. His mom and dad. And she was. She read her ex husband for filth. Yeah, it was just like, that was the most. You did this to him, and you can just tell that it was just his father's immaturity begat his son's immaturity. And it's vital to see. And so even talking about. It's even like, guys even like people who are listening to this or women who are listening to this, like, this is guy like me. They see, they feel, and then they'll do. And so let me tell you this. If a guy is not doing anything, he's not interested. I'm telling you, I'm just. That's not me being weird, but that's just the truth. If a guy is not doing something, he's not interested. So, like, you know, I remember when Cordy and I first got together, and it was a matter of, like, you know, not just, are you coming to Nashville, but I plan stuff. So Courtney makes fun of me still that, like, my apartment was not super clean. I cleaned it to the best of my ability because I wanted her to, like, really enjoy this. I found stuff to do, didn't have all the money in the world because I was still in school. But guys do things right and that doing is not gonna be like, hey, I love you so much. You're the most amazing person in the world, and blah, blah, blah. It's gonna be in their doing. So, like, when he was like, like you said, like, he was just seems in office, blah, blah, blah. He's not showing you in his shoulders. He's showing you in his lack of doing right? Guys, do we do stuff? So if we don't use our hands for something, if we don't, like. So every year for Christmas, I always try to build something for court because for me, it's just always just like, I like giving court stuff that, like, you can't buy, right? You can't buy stuff. And so even if, like, at one time I try to make, like a nightstand, it wasn't great. I did my best with it, and I was like, finding all the stuff, looking at all these different things, and it just didn't come out the best thing. But, like, I want to. I like building stuff right for court. And guys do things with their hands. So if a guy. And so even in those of you who are in relationships or married, if a guy is not doing something. And that's not just work. Like, work is easy. Work is because expected. Like, the thing about it is guys doing the minimal expect guys doing the minimum is not love. It's an expectation. You go to school, it's an expectation. You bring money into your household. It's an expectation that you cook or clean. It's expectation that you put your clothes in a hamper. The doing is like, hey, we're going to go out to eat. Or, hey, I thought about this. Or, hey, I grabbed this at the store for you. Even if it's gum, it's. If it's candy, it's like, hey, I thought about you when I saw your favorite candy at the store at the checkout line. I thought about you when I grabbed this. He's not gonna be like, hey, I love you so much. Oh, my God. Like, oh, my God, I just love you so much, and you're so amazing, and I just love everything about you. And, like, I just want to, like, give you this piece of candy because you're amazing. He's like, hey, I know your favorite candy is the Snickers. I just Grabbed you one on the way home. That's his way of being like, I love you so much. Oh my God, you're so amazing. Just like this. And it's just not gonna be like, I love you. Oh my God, I'm just so affectionate. Like it's. Hey, I was at the. I grabbed coffee on the way to the to work today or grab coffee on the way home today. And hey, here you go, right? Those little types of things show that it's the doing. And so when a guy stops doing. So in this case, when this brother. When you were telling this I have not watched Love is Blind since the first season. I thought was so stupid. But when you told I know you.
Watch it when I'm not looking. I know you do.
Absolutely. I read books. And so when you started telling me about Love is Blind, I'm sitting here like when he kept saying, like, I'm afraid to do this, I'm afraid of this, I'm afraid I'm do this, I'm afraid I'm gonna do this. I'm afraid I'm do this. Yeah, that's what that was his exempt from not doing anything. So he's not going to do anything. Like he's not, he's not going to engage in anything like that. He just wasn't going to serve her.
And that's why in a reunion. And so but this is the thing, right? And like freedom of this because I don't think just because a guy may not be into a specific person does not mean that I don't believe that they're like a jerk, right? So I said this to say so at the reunion. He's like, I messed up, right? Like I felt so bad having to do that. And I was like, I read that more so than like I met saying no to you. But I hated that I embarrassed you and I hated that I made you feel bad and I hated that made you cry. Because he's not a jerk, right? He's not someone that doesn't have feelings. Or is this cold, hard butted like thing where it's like, ha, I left you at the altar, I made you cry. He was remorse. It wasn't about. I think his decision to say what he said was very final. And what he meant, I don't think he meant to embarrass her.
Point counterpoint to that. He didn't mean to embarrass her. Like nobody means embarrassing one. He knew that when this episode came out, it was gonna cause a whole lot of stuff for him. So I don't think it was a matter of like. Oh, my God, I'm so sorry. So sorry. You said she was a cheerleader.
Yeah, yeah.
So. Okay, so let me just. Okay, so let me. Let me back up, I guess I have not seen this. I've not seen this. I will never watch it. But a guy bagged a cheerleader. I'm just gonna be honest. A guy bagged a cheerleader, right? And he feels special. He bagged a cheerleader. He wasn't. Hold on. He was on national tv. He bagged a cheerleader. He could tell us where to bag a cheerleader. He was telling his friends and his buddies. He bagged a cheerleader. He went out to eat, guaranteed. Because he backed a cheerleader that see dances for a national football team, A national basketball team. Okay, whatever. Oh, they're a losing team anyway, so like, whatever. He. He bagged a cheerleader. This is sad. I'm not saying this is okay. What I'm about to say is not okay. He bagged a cheerleader. He's single. I'm assuming he's a good looking dude, right? He's on a TV show. So he bagged a cheerleader. I'm assuming she's fairly attractive woman, right? He bagged a cheerleader.
She had a great body.
Yeah. So he bagged.
I didn't like my coat.
Yeah. So he bagged a cheerleader.
Yeah.
He is upset that, like, crap, this is gonna look really bad on him online and it's gonna terribly close off a monumental amount of women he can date because it's gonna be seen not just as the jerk part, but like, crap, you're only gonna be able to get them 5050 folk, right? Like, I mean, at the end of the day, I mean, this is just like, this is my point, counterpoint. And he's only going, this is why I don't talk relation very often. But like, he's only getting the 50, 50 folks.
You're letting us know the Jew.
I'm just saying. And after you got them 50, 50 folk, that's all you can be able to get. He's not gonna be able to get the ones that he really wants. He's not gonna be single and probably like to like 50. And then he'll be the one of them dudes going around at clubs at 50 being like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I was on Love is Blind. Like he's mad about his reputation. Here I am, careless as someone feels.
I think, yes, on paper, that's amazing. Right? Like, you're a Professional cheerleader. Right. So you gotta have the body, you gotta have the moves, you gotta have all of that. Right.
And.
But I counted to say that he never was physically attracted to her. Like it, it's hard to deny body.
He bagged a cheerleader, but I don't think that the girl could have come out looking like precious. He bagged a cheerleader. It's a status symbol on national tv. He bagged a cheerleader. Right. And so that's. I'm not saying it's right, it's not right. But I'm saying is, unfortunately he used that young lady for his own clout and then realized this is going to backfire terribly on me professionally because it's on tv. This is not just like some private thing.
So you think that's why he apologized?
I think the reason he apologized cuz he was trying to make sure that was like a sound bite. Right? Like, and then the realization, like, I am just as bad as my father.
Well, that's why you kept blaming it on.
No, no, no, because that's what I'm saying. So now he's realizing. So he. What he's doing is he projected onto his dad what he's already been doing. He didn't. He's not in a committed.
That's it.
He didn't. He didn't get into a deep relationship with someone. Not because he was going to cheat on her, but he didn't want to get out of the world he was in. He got what he wanted. He backed a cheerleader. If it wasn't the cheerleader, I'm sure if there was like a tech exec, he would have got that. If a wealthy person, he would have got her. Whatever it was. He was trying to get a notch in his belt to say, this is what I did. And so now he's apologizing like, crap, this is gonna look really bad for me. So now like, I'm so sorry. Like, please make sure this is on tv. I'm so sorry. Please make sure this is on tv. Like, please make sure this is on tv because I'm sorry for what my life is gonna be like now. And what? My dating pool has drastically gone down. And unless I get a book and a publicist and someone to help me, my dating life and my career are going to look completely different because I.
So you think it backfired for him?
Yeah, I thought with my pants. Absolutely.
But what was blind, they don't see. He didn't know.
But I'm sure earlier in the show he pro she probably said what she does, I'm sure.
Well, she was adamant to not. She was like, I'm not gonna describe myself. I really want somebody to love me for me.
I don't know.
But I'm. I'm sure she said they're both black.
So you hear the blackness in her voice.
And I'm sure she said that she cheered.
So. So, yeah. So.
Well, that's interesting. Oh, thank you for that. See, you should talk relationships more because the ladies, like, people need to know this. Like, people need to see this. And I think that, like, everything you said in the last, like, the five minutes that you were talking about, like, how do you know a man is for you? Men do men. You never have to wonder. You never have that. And that's so enough. Like, the truth. Like, I have never been disappointed by you, Justin. Ever been disappointed. Even though you took my car key off of your key ring, fell off.
And it's still right by my bedside.
But if I called you and I needed you and I was straining, I would come home, heaven and earth, I would.
And there's a remote way to do with an app. There's so many ways to do that.
But what I'm saying is, like, that's. And we're going to talk more about this at our relationship conference that we're having relationships, then I just. If you are in Northern California or anywhere, if you want to come, we would love to have you. We're having a relationship conference.
And, oh, speaking of, since we're talking in a rel remix, we should offer pay to watch.
Oh, yeah.
So it's $50 a couple, but if you want to watch the session. So for our rel remix, we have a pastoral friend of mine, John Faison, who was divorced a couple of years ago, who's recently, who's about to get remarried.
Yeah, Meg, we're super excited.
So he's going to talk about what it means to navigate divorce, children, grief. And then we're going to do Rel Khan with Justin and Trish Davis. Amazing couple. Got an amazing story, and I think you guys will love it.
How to. How to estate planning. Maybe if you're a widow, too, like, oh, my God, after you lose your spouse, how do you move forward financially?
Yeah.
After that, how do you secure yourself when you've been married for X amount of years and now you have to navigate by yourself? And what does that look like? You know, separating finances and things through divorce. Also, how to do collaborative parenting. I think that's a. Whether it's Co parenting with. I think we should probably talk about co parenting step parents.
I think we should talk about the concept of co parenting in both. And I say this like this because I think what happens in marriages too, right. Is that it's on one parent to do most of like the nurture and then another parent to do like the fun and discipline. And it should be a mix of both no matter, like no matter what. Yeah. I think there has to be a notion of actually as we plan this co parenting but not calling it co.
Parenting, like just parenting, like collaborative parenting. Because it's. When you do separate, it's. You're introducing more and more people. Right. So now it's beyond just mother, father, it's mother, father and new spouse, mother, father or whoever else, whatever that looks like to just have overall collaborative parenting. And we have great people even in our church who just do collaborative parenting for years, I mean up until their 90s, did great collaborative parenting.
It's interesting I said this to you a couple weeks ago. I said have you ever thought about the conversations that people are having in their homes? And I think that that not just think that's why I take Sunday so serious. You know, it's just like the weight of stuff that people bring. It's not just jobs and stuff. I mean just like you're talking co parenting, right. So what are the things that like a kid said to you? What are the things like stories have even heard when we start planning real remix. Like you know, the stuff that parents said or you know, supposed to pick a kid up from a place and the other parent did it or someone didn't show, you know, or you know, auntie don't like so and so now. So don't come to the reunion. I mean it's just amazing to think about the stuff that like life lifes, you know.
Yeah.
And it's just really, really hard to navigate through. Especially like when you have a difficult job. You have a difficult.
Yeah.
Difficult job, difficult body, difficult my body. Just like health wise.
Right.
Like just all of that. And to go forth from this. Yeah, that's stuff coming up down for us. And then we have, we have graduations coming up too.
We have graduations. We are going to D.C. in May.
You know, it's weird to I guess like be on the other side of graduations.
Right.
Like it's been 10 years since we've been in college. But I guess it's crazy to think.
Like grad school at that. Like you have to, you have to distinguish because it's like, over 10 years. Yeah, 12.
Crazy. It's crazy to think, like, we're. We're the old people flying across the country for graduations and not the ones people flying in for.
I am on the. Well, you are, too. Too kind of on the other side of 30.
Like, oh, no, I'm not there.
Yeah, you are. You are, like, 35.
I'm not. I'm not 36, though. I am not 36. I am 35, and I'm thriving. 35.
You are on the other side of 35, homie.
All right. But I'm not 36, though. So that's. That's what matters. Jesus. I am not 36, but I'm excited about life, though. Like, we have. I have some AI conferences. Those of you who want. Those of you are preachers. It's in this. Be in the show notes. I'm doing an online AI conference for groundworks on April 11, if you want to join in. And then also be with my boy Terrence down in Nashville, Pastor Vinny celebrating 25 years of pastoral ministry in July. I'm excited for him. Pastor Faison is getting married.
Yeah. We have a big spring and summer of just celebrating others. I'm excited about that. Celebrating people in our lives. We've reduced even our travel in the winter, normally when we would travel to. To be able to live out loud and celebrate with others. Spring and summer. Our son's turning seven.
Turning seven. So it's just a lot of number of completion. So it's just really exciting things that. That we're walking into and stuff like that. So we wanted to not only update you guys, not just where we've been, but update you guys on just like.
We celebrated eight years of marriage.
Oh, my God. Do we. Do we have a podcast after that?
I don't think so.
Oh, my gosh. That's where we got the sweater from. This is the gift the core got to celebrate eight years of marriage.
Yes. It's our wedding anniversary in Roman numerals. We'll begin because I have a matching one, and we're getting head turners. Like, who was that? Who baked me? What? Oh, dude, this is so fun. But, yeah, new beginnings.
That was fun. We went out to eat. I found this place in Marin, and we went out to eat a Restoration Hardware.
My favorite Restoration Hardware restaurant if you're ever buy one. Go, go now.
There's only a few, though. There's one in Yadville. There's one in Marin. But no, it was super fun to be able to celebrate that there's a Restoration Hardware in Nashville.
Restaurant. Yeah.
Oh, dope. We gotta go. So I gotta go there. Seriously? Yeah. Is it in Franklin or downtown?
I think it may be Franklin.
Well, so, yeah. So we celebrated eight years of marriage. We'll do 80 more. I put on Facebook, that's 800 more.
No, for sure.
You're 809.
You're not going anywhere. And in heaven, I'll be like, go, Jesus, I love you so much. Where are you at? Where are you at?
The thing about it, remember, according to scripture. Right.
Those are. Okay, that's all.
No, but in accordance.
We got it.
We understand the way that heaven is going to be is heaven is going to be the spirit God. God's essence, God's divinity is centered.
Yeah.
And it's not a great cloud of witnesses watching. So we're not going to go in there and be disembodied figures of our ages.
We'll be spirits ripping the fun. My spirit is going to be looking for your.
And I'm sure that's the case to God. You don't take your eyes off Jesus.
Of course not.
We'll see him as he is. We're gonna find you. But he's gonna be. The Hebrews says that he is going to be the center. I'm just playing around. No, that'd be really. I think it'd be really, really fun. I also. I wonder a lot about, like, and this is a whole other podcast, I wonder so much about the afterlife. Like, I've been studying so much on it after preaching revelation and Hebrews, and I'm just curious about, like. Like, the liminal spaces, the waiting spaces. Like, you know, everybody's curious about, like, you know, everybody dies and sees God. Like, you know, I'm curious as to what those whole, like, you know, the. Before the New Covenant, we believed in, like, Abraham's bosom, and now, you know, is there, like, Indian now, like, purgatory? And, like, I'm just. My theology is involving so much. I believe in. There's a heaven, there's a hell. So do not call me a heretic. Not going down the call to Pearson Road. But I'm just curious about, like, what is the afterlife really? Right. Because I've been reading so much on it.
So we use, like, differential. Deep, deep fake learning, you guys. I think you guys call it artificial intelligence. That was so a billion years ago, because I'm so ahead of this.
But you say deep fake learning. I don't know.
What do you call it? Like, deep fake fake or something like that deep phase or something like that.
Deep fake learning court is like so current.
That's what I'm saying. But I'm saying God is going to be like. Because what is current to us is.
Like a memory millions of years old.
Yeah. So God is like. I think you guys, what do you call it?
Yeah.
Artificial.
Yeah. I'm curious. I'm curious as to even that. Okay. It's my last little thing. So if everything that we have in God is to make us to be full worshipers of God. Right. And everything that occurs with one goal is so that we are able to worship God in spirit and in truth. I wonder if artificial intelligence, robotics, this taking work away. Away from us. Right? Everything's in God. God's in everything. I wonder if this taking work away from us, take away the capitalism, is God's way of trying to get us back to Eden.
Yes, I believe that. You know, like, I can't say what I, I was gonna say with that because it's not a podcast. No, I know, but I have it. It requires more fleshing out than what I have the time to. What is it? No, because you know how I'm saying, like, like how the Bible just stopped. You know how I said that, like, the Bible just stopped. But every day, like our lives should be a living testimony.
So let's say this to the word of God did not stop. A bunch of white guys got together and chose what goes in it, right? So there are. For all of you who are curious, there are hundreds of gospels. Gospels are just eyewitness accounts of Jesus.
Right?
So there's gospels of Andrew, gospels of like, there's. We only get three disciples, right? Like, Peter did not write first, second, third Peter. His disciples did.
Right?
Right. They just used his name to be get important. So we get started, we get four, we get James, we get Matthew, we get John, we get Paul. Paul.
James was just his brother. He wasn't a disciple.
He wasn't a disciple. No, he was.
No, he wasn't.
He wasn't. He wasn't.
That's another James.
So we get. Yeah, that's a different James. A brother James, son of Z, and James, the other. Okay, so we get three disciples, and one was two only eyewitnesses to Jesus. So there's so many different gospels, right? The Gospel Peter, Gospel of John, those, those are gnostic things that we just used to do other stuff. But that's actually so interesting. I preached on this. This is terrible. I preached on this yesterday. But. So the Gospel of Thomas was a gnostic gospel that they wrote literally to make Thomas look bad.
Wow.
Yeah. Same thing with the Gospel of Judas. They wrote it to be like Judas was really in cahoots with Jesus. The whole Gospel of Judas is that Judas was in cahoots with Jesus, and it was a heretical gospel anyway. To get what you're saying, yes, I believe the Scriptures continue. That's why we have the books of the Fathers.
But what I'm saying, though, is exactly what you're saying. Like, what if artificial intelligence. Just how like God, throughout the course of Scripture and every push and being was to walk among us, to make our world better, to make our life better, and to make our relationship whole with Christ again. Every movement that we see in the Bible is that. And we're still not writing and adding to this. To the. To the Bible, or that there's so many books of what you just said. But absolutely.
I believe we're in the midst of the third Great Awakening. And awakenings have a couple of qualified pyres on them. And one of the qualifiers of the Awakenings. Every awakening we've seen has come because there's a new form of technology. Whether that was Gutenberg, whether that was newspapers or media. I think we're on the verge of it. I think we're the midst of it. And I truly believe that if God's sole purpose is to bring heaven to earth so that we can worship him in spirit and in truth. And we have worshiped work. I have a feeling he poured out what artificial intelligence is, humanoid, robots, all this stuff so that we can get our hands off of work. And the only reason we're even holding on to work is because he made world. Like Dollar Tree is seven dollar Tree now. Like, we. Because we. We because we have to have money to survive. Yeah. We don't feel we can stop working. Yeah. There's gonna come a time when it's gonna happen. So anyway, that's what we talked about today. We can't wait to see you guys.

AI gives you hours back every week. Most people's first move is to fill those hours with more work.

Most people stall out on AI at the exact same step. They don't know where to start.
