Short spoken monologue by Justin R. Lester arguing that labeling AI as “cheating” is inconsistent because people have long used assistive technologies. He urges listeners to adapt and learn rather than reject AI, and issues a community call-to-action (comment the word “discord”).

If you think AI is cheating, let's be consistent. If you if you think so, then don't use spellcheck, don't use Grammarly, don't use autocorrect, turn off your gps because clearly finding your own way is more authentic. And while you're at it, stop using cruise control, stop using autopilot, stop using your thermostats, stop saying, hey, Siri, stop talking to Alexa, stop using your worship playlist, and definitely do not use the smart setting on your washing machine. So you've been using AI since the 1950s and just called it convenience. And now that it can think with you instead of just for you, now all of a sudden it's cheating? N what's really happening is you're uncomfortable with growth. You're mad that the world is moving faster than your comfort zone. I want to tell you this. AI does not replace your intelligence. It reveals how you use it. So stop fighting every new tool because you're scared to learn. Adapt a little bit, evolve a little bit, and let wisdom guide who you are, not your insecurities. And if you want to talk more like that and join a community like this, matter of fact, come at the word discord and you'll join a group of other creators like me who are out here trying to do this work for the church. Comment the word discord and I'll send it over to you. Because, family, let me tell you something. Get over yourself. Have a good one.
