Short spoken monologue by Justin R. Lester arguing that AI is not killing creativity but exposing unoriginal work. Lester says AI can mimic styles (remix/predict) but cannot reproduce a creator’s unique self; creators should deepen personal originality to remain irreplaceable. The piece closes with an exhortation to find one’s creative voice and a call to follow.

Everybody's telling me that AI is killing creativity. Nah, it's not killing creativity. It's just pulling receipts on how non creative you were. If everybody can copy your style, or if a machine can copy your style, maybe your style wasn't original to begin with. Real creativity comes from tension, comes from wrestling, comes from figuring it out, comes from having a signature. Let me tell you something. AI can learn to write like Justin Lester, but AI ain't ever going to write like Justin Lester. Creativity came from learning that, not templates. AI can remix it, AI can predict it, but it can't reproduce it. Real creators, AI is a mirror, not a mask. So if you've been uncreative in a template form all this time, AI is just telling you you've been basic. So maybe this season is for you to find your creative juice again. To find yourself. To make sure that you are diving deep into the recesses of who you are. To know that AI cannot replace you. But you better have something that makes it irreplaceable. Alright. Be well my friends. Like and follow for more.
