Can I give you a promise from God today? God loves to give you peace. Hear the word of the Lord. It says this peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. From John 14:27 now most of us think of peace as the absence of conflict, but Jesus actually promises something better. He gives us peace in the face of conflict. When we let Jesus into our lives and trust him with everything, we can walk into any situation with confidence and assurance, knowing that God will never abandon us in our time of need. When we know God is with us, working through the Holy Spirit to guide us and comfort us, we don't have to fear the future will be paralyzed by life's what ifs. We can experience deep and lasting peace. God wants to give you peace.
