A brief spoken prayer by Justin R. Lester built around Ephesians 2: he invites listeners to receive a quick prayer, reminds them they are God’s workmanship created for good works, and prays that they would do good works, love beyond prejudices, and be made whole in God’s presence.

Hey, hey, hey. I know you're busy, but can I pray for you really quickly? God, today, thank you that Ephesians 2 reminds us that we are your workmanship, that we have been created for good works. So today, God, I pray that at our jobs, with our friends, with our colleagues, with our loved ones, and even with our enemies, and especially with ourselves, that we are constantly in tune with the good works you've called us to so open our ears that we might hear you open our eyes that we might see you break our hearts. So we learn how to love the way you called us to love. To love beyond our prejudices and love beyond our assumptions and love beyond the lies we've told ourselves about you and about our us. Father, today lead us that we might trust that we are your workmanship created to do great works and to do good works to bring glory to your name. Thank you that you trust us as living sacrifices to bring glory to you. Now, God, break us and mend us that we might be completely whole in your presence. It's in Jesus name I.
