Short motivational YouTube video by Justin R. Lester that argues people (and game developers) master imperfections; uses Madden football/game-development visuals as an example of mastering physical imperfections, then applies that metaphor to personal growth and faith—encouraging viewers to embrace both their perfections and imperfections, trust God, and 'play life' boldly. Madden football players are so ugly. Let me talk about it, though, because what I've learned in watching game development is that game developers mastered imperfections. That they mastered all the wrinkles of jerseys, the sweat coming off people's faces, all of the imperfections of someone's hairline, even LeBron's hairline. They've mastered all of the imperfections because they learned to make a great game for the consumer. I've got to master imperfections. Do you know your imperfections more than your enemy does? Because maybe the reason people are intimidated by you is that in spite of all your imperfections, you put out something great. Trust God today. Live into who you are, the perfect and the imperfect. Because what makes you amazing is not just your perfections, it's your imperfection. Go play life today. Play with it. Is that a word? I don't know.
