If you don't love your kids, keep scrolling. But if you do, stay right here. Can I tell you, as a parent, I know this being a parent is tough, overwhelming and scary. But it doesn't have to be. Here are three ways to parent your kids. Like Jesus. Can I give you them? Number one. Remember, you're not alone. God is always with you. When God said He would never leave you nor forsake you, that wasn't just in your storms. That's with you as he walks shoulder to shoulder by you as a parent. God is by your side. You can lean on him as a parent. Number two. Know this. The results are not up to you. You are a child of the living God and so are your kids. It is your responsibility to do what God says. Everything else, including the results, are up to God. And lastly, perfection isn't the goal. Relationship is. None of us will ever be the perfect parent. That honor belongs to God alone. It is not your job to be the perfect parent. It is your job to follow as closely as possible to the one that is. Every mom, every dad, every stepmom, every stepdad, every person who's like a parent to someone. Can I tell you something? You're doing an amazing job. Trust God today.
