Just Keep Going

Justin R. Lester preaches on Colossians 2:6-7 about staying rooted in Christ. He warns against idols like astrology, uses a story about learning to dunk, and says thanksgiving and consistency matter more than chasing cultural distractions.
Chapters
Your Bibles, Colossians chapter two, beginning at verse number six. And we'll read verses six and seven. Colossians two, verse six and seven. This is the word of the Lord. It says these words. So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. So then, as you received Christ Jesus as your Lord, somebody say, continue to live your lives in him. Father, I'm grateful for your word. Let your word do the hard work that we might encounter what you've already finished. In Jesus name, amen. You may be seated, but as you take your seats, just tell somebody, keep going, keep going, keep going. Just keep going. Just keep going. I feel glory in this place. I don't know about you, I. There's some of you. And I'm gonna just say this. I'm jumping to the word who. Who've been holding back tears. And the freedom for you is on the other side of your weeping. And there's just so many of you, as we were singing, as we were in worship, you're holding tears back. And the Lord said, trust me with it, because what your tears are going to do, and this is for the 17 of you who hear it. Your tears are going to water the ground that you God is going to give harvest to. And your tears are going to water the ground that God is giving harvest to. I don't care what they think about your tears. Worship is not about what they think. It's about God hearing and seeing you. And so I pray that if those of you are insecure about releasing that to the Father today, may it be a day where you water your future. Somebody say, yes, I am. I'm six, five, three, something. You don't need to know what the something is. I'm six, five, three, something. And my goal this year, after I put on some Covid weight, y' all did too. Don't judge me. And so my goal this year was to get back dunking. I tore my ACL and this knee, my kniscus and this knee years ago when I thought I could play basketball. And so my goal this year was to dunk again. And so I found one of my friends out in the Bay Area who was a shooting coach and a trainer and used to play ball. And I said, man, can you help me dunk again? That's all I want to do. And so beginning of January, y' all know how it is. January starts. I got. I Went and bought a ridiculous amount of dry fits that I'm going to dunk this year. I got some brand new Yannis shoes and some LeBrons, and I was going dunk this year. I got up there, we measured where we were. So I didn't have too much work to do. If I lost some weight, did some squats, I could dunk by the end of the year of our lower 20, 23. So January comes along, we start doing squats and box jumps. I'm doing the doggone thing, and I'm thinking, I'm doing something, y'. All. I got a small basketball. I. I went. I went up in the end of February, got the small ball in the hoop. Ooh, hallelujah. Praise the Lord. I got a small ball in the basket. The next day, my trainer calls, justin, where are you? I don't need to come back. I got a small ball in the basket. You don't know how difficult that was. It's been two months. Your boy got a little itty bitty ball in the basket. I don't need to do nothing else. He said, justin, what was your goal this year? To dunk? He said, did you want to dunk a baby's ball? Are you going to dunk a whole. Are you? What are you trying to do? And I said, I want to. I want to dunk. I want to. I want. I want to do this. And he's. I said, I did it, too. And he said, no, Justin. He said, you just got started. He said, you got to be consistent. The goal was not just to feel good one time. The goal is to be able to do this at any time you want to in your life. He said, justin, we got to work on what you eat to maintain this. He said, it's one thing to dunk one time. We want to maintain it so you can do it again. He said, justin, we want to get you so you can jump higher, get your core together. He said, justin, what was the reason behind it? I shared him the reasons behind it. I said, I want to make sure I'm healthy. He said, justin, it's not just the first step. You got to take the second step. And one of the issues for so many of us, the reason we meet, miss out on success is because we take the first step. We come to church, we take the first step. We pray one time. We take the first step. We give one time. We take the first step, first step. We come to the altar call, but success is not in the first step. Success is when you can are consistently taking the second step. And that's what Paul is getting to, to the saints in Colossae. And as Paul is writing this work in Colossi, he's telling them, church at Colossae, don't stop at the first step, but you got to keep going. Paul writes this work to the church at Colossae. He says he never visited Colossae. He never visited Laodicea. But he was told at Idris about the deep threats to the church at Colossae. The people of Colossae were devoted followers to Jesus, but they had some questionable worship practices. And Paul writes the book of Colossians to call out their practices. And namely, what Paul was telling them is that you are more comfortable worshiping the stars. You are more comfortable connecting the dots in the sky instead of trusting the Lord Jesus Christ. And so Paul writes this book to denounce idols, similar to the short structure of the book of Galatians. And Paul writes this book to call out their idols because he said, your issue is you are too concerned with astrology and astrological thought, that you don't trust the finished work of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And Paul says the reason these thoughts are so vital is that astrological thoughts were rooted in Jewish holy days. In essence, they were rooted in tradition. It's very similar to the magi in the book of Matthew. You remember the story of when Jesus was born and there was a star over the manger? Well, what happened is these Magi, these wise men, were watching the stars for years. And what their responsibility was was to connect the dots on the stars. Because they believed that if you connected the dots on the stars, it would tell you the future they were looking at the stars and saw. One star is malaligned, one star is a little different. Because that told them that if we spend our whole lives trying to connect the dots, we can miss out on the presence of Jesus here in the book of Colossians. That's what Paul is saying. He says stars are not better than Christ, that your destiny is not in your to do list. Your destiny is not in who your mentor is. Your destiny is not in connecting the dots. Your destiny is in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. And this cult like practice of astrology continues till today. Y' all can get mad at me if you want to, but I bet if I check half of yalls Instagram, y' all shared something this morning about what the stars tell you about your future. Because it's easier to trust the stars than it is to Trust Jesus Christ. We will trust some life coach on Instagram, but won't read our Bibles. I ain't scared of none of y'. All. We will trust some random person that can't came to your job, but you won't trust the creator of the stars. Paul says, let's kill your idols. Holidays ain't bad, but you can't worship them. Tradition isn't bad, but you can't worship it. And the issue is, we begin to think that our traditions are frozen success. And our holidays are more important than Jesus. And we get consumed. Watch this with our distractions. And I've learned this about distractions. Distractions are inner denial on the yes of God. That was so good at your boy, so I know it's real. I'll say it again. Y' all ain't gotta say, that was so good. Distractions are inner denial that when I choose distractions, I decided to say no to what God has said yes to. Okay. And Paul wants to remind them of their trust in Christ, that your yes to God is all that matters. Because when I say yes to God, I am agreeing with the finished work of Jesus. That when Jesus died and was resurrected from the grave and told me he's coming back again and gave me the helper of the Holy Ghost. There is no politician. There is no temple. There is no tradition. There is no holiday that is stronger than the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul knows them and knows wow. I didn't plant this church while I didn't teach this church. He knows what God wants to do in this church. And he reminds them of a hymn they already know in Colossians chapter one. He says, remember Jesus? No. Remember the Jesus you serve. Remember the Jesus the reason you planted the church in the first place. Well, Colossians, chapter one, verse 15, he says, the reason. I want you to remember this. Verse 15, Christ makes visible what's invisible. Verse 16. There's no spiritual being that can move without Jesus Christ. Even the devil has to check in with God. In verse number 17, he says Christ brings confidence in the universe. Verse 18, Christ has the first place in everything. Verse 19, Christ is everything that God is. And verse 20, God chose Christ to be crucified so we can be reunited in the love with God. And these are the truths about Jesus. And this impressed the church at Colossae that he got their attention. They're getting so excited. Paul, you singing the hymn that Zephaniah and Malachi wrote. It's common ground. It's truth. They love this hymn. And then as Paul gets their attention, he says, listen, now we got to kill your idols. Because he was concerned not about their knowledge. He was concerned about their heart for Christ. They knew what to do. They just chose not to. They knew who Jesus was. Matter of fact, some of them walked with him. Some of them were right there on the road to Golgotha as he was being crucified. They knew who he was. They went to temple to see who he was.
Some of them might have been a part of the 12,000 he fed on that day.
But they were too easily swayed by the world to trust Jesus every single day. Their issue was their consistency. They were swayed by life and people and fads and popularity and situation that they decided to use their gifts to connect the stars instead of using their gifts to build a local church. Because it's easy for us to worship in church. I mean, let's think about it. Church is the perfect storm. Everybody's happy. You know, a couple folk ain't, but everybody else is happy. Everything is perfect. Choir and practice. To make sure everything is perfect, we wrote sermons. You, you got dressed. You finally put deodorant on. You washed your face. And for the 10 of y' all that washed your legs, we thank God for you. You. You came here and you're gonna talk about Jesus. Your consistency doesn't matter in here. Are you gonna be consistent out there when you gotta talk to your unsaved co worker? Are you gonna be consistent when your child comes to you and asks you questions that you know the answer to? You. Are you gonna be consistent when students come to you, professor, and ask you questions that merely begin to agitate your faith? My question to you this morning is, what causes you to stray away from Jesus? Like, what causes you to turn your back on the cross? What would cause you to say, jesus, you can handle everything but that. Like Jesus, you are good to make me shout on Sunday, but I don't trust you in my doctor's office.
Jesus, you are strong enough to make.
Me scream during worship, but I don't trust you in my relationship. So Jesus is the side chick you text on Sunday.
I ain't scared of none of y'.
All.
Jesus is the one you name dominoes in your phone that calls you because you know how to reach him, but.
You don't want him to call you. Because if we don't confront these idols, we conceal the power. That's why the hymn writer said, oh, what pity, peace we often forfeit, and.
Oh, what needless pains we Bear Why? Because we don't take everything to God in prayer. I don't want to try to be God.
I'm tired of trying to be God in my life. I'm talking to this Anglican church. God gives us gifts. He gives us access. And I want to tell you that your gifts are powerful. Your insight is powerful. Your anointing is powerful.
And when you use your gift dwell.
It builds the kingdom. But when you make misuse your gift, it can destroy someone's life. Anointing misused, can kill people. You don't believe me? Ask Saul. Y' all know Saul, don't you? Saul?
God.
God fired Saul, but let him keep on working.
I never want God to fire me.
But put me in a position where I need him.
And because I don't trust him, I'm.
Not anointed, but I have the power.
You are too anointed to compromise your gift. You are too anointed to compromise your gift for the sake of temporary nobody is that fine.
I got to say no to Jesus.
I wish I had. Nobody is that bad.
I got to say no to Jesus.
There is no job that is bigger than Jesus. You are too anointed to compromise your future. Paul comes back in chapter two.
I'm getting there.
Paul says, you know who you are. You know who Jesus is. But don't allow your distractions to disrupt you. But allow your distractions to confirm where.
God is taking you. Paul says, you better keep going. You better continue in the church. You better continue beyond the church hurt. You better continue beyond the church rumors. You better continue beyond the trauma.
Because you know who you are in Jesus. You know the gift you have in Jesus. You know who God has called you to be. Don't you dare quit apologizing for being anointed. Quit apologizing. I'm not sorry that my anointing makes you afraid of what God can do. I'm sorry that you are so insecure in you.
You.
That you don't trust the God in me.
Quit.
I'm tired of anointed people apologizing to insecure people about being called by God. Baby, I'm not arrogant. I'm anointed God. I'm not apologizing that God. Am I talking to anybody in the building? I'm not a po. I want to free you from apologizing.
That you know Jesus.
I want to free you from apologizing that God put his hand on you. I want to free you from apologizing that God has called you by name. But you know why Because I walk like this, because I can back it up. And I told you talk like this because I can back it up.
And it ain't.
Cause I got a big ego, baby. I took a DNA test and found out I'm 100% loved by God. Am I talking to anybody who can take the brakes off me this morning and thank God I'm anointed. I'm called, I'm selected, I'm covered, and God has smiled on me. Look at somebody tell them, keep going. Your family needs you. Keep going because your community needs you. Keep going because your church needs you. Why? Paul says in Colossians 2, because you have fullness in Jesus Christ. You have salvation in Jesus Christ. You are rooted in Jesus Christ. You are drowning in blessings from Jesus Christ. You can't give up here because God has spilled too much blood. Blood for you to throw in the towel. You can't give up here because God has spilled too much blood. He broke his body so you don't have to break yours. He broke it.
I wish I had a witness.
He broke his body so you don't have to break yours. You can't die here.
Keep going. How? That is good news. Y' all can look at me like I'm crazy if you want to. I'm talking to folk in the building.
Your prayers have been so toxic. God says, no, put that all. Put your ego down and keep going. Because you can't die here. You will not die here. Depression will not kill you. Anxiety will not destroy you.
I wish.
I'm talking to folk in the building who've been ideating about suicide. God says, I'm restoring your mind because you can't die here.
So what mindsets Pastor Justin, do I need to enrich to keep going? Look at the text. Number one, Paul says, first mindset shift I had was I had to begin to tell myself, I'm willing. I'm willing. First principle. I'm willing. I'm willing. One thing I've learned in my life is it's not about ability, it's about willingness. Some of the best people I've ever led were not the smartest, but they were willing to be coached. Because life never stops teaching, so you can never stop learning. Oh, that was so good. That was. That was good. That was good. That was good. To me, if you don't learn anything new, you won't build anything new. But if you trust Christ, he'll take you places eyes have never seen. You know, it's amazing when you read that scripture. Second Corinthians 10, eyes haven't seen, ears have heard, neither enter the hearts of men the great things God has in store for his people. I like verse 6 because the text says, but the Spirit already knows. He says, you so worried about what you haven't seen, but if you trust the Spirit, he already knows. You waiting for a prophet to show up? And the Spirit says, trust me, call on me. You waiting for somebody to come lay hands on you? God says, if you call upon upon my name, the Spirit, are you willing to trust Jesus? This builds upon what Paul tells in verse number four. Paul says, I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine sounding arguments. Because though I'm absent from you, thank you God, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm you are in your faith in Christ. The Greek here is straightforward. Paul says, as you received with him through received from him. The Greek there is, you walked with him. Paul says, as you have history with God. Okay, let me put a nickel in the meter. Sometimes I don't need another miracle, I need my memory. I thought I'm talking to some Presbyterians in here. I said I don't need another miracle.
When I look back, I wish I.
Had a witness over my life and.
See how what my history with Jesus. If God don't do anything else, I got my this is the challenge.
Paul says to remember what you were taught. Paul says, remember Sunday school? I told you how good I was in Sunday school. Remember?
Remember coming to church on Saturdays? I told you how good I was on Saturday.
Remember what you were taught. You've been well instructed to don't run away from truth because culture sounds better. Be willing to walk with Christ in season and out of season. And what's happened is we have this great desire to go viral. We want to get so popular. I want everybody to know my name when Jesus says, if you trust me, I'll prop you up. God, one thing I desire of the Lord and that one thing I will.
Seek after is to dwell in the house of God all the days of my life and behold his beauty. Because in the time of trouble he will hide me not TikTok, he will hide me not Instagram and he set me up.
I wish I had a witness upon.
A rock and now my head will be lifted above all of my enemies. I don't care if you like me. Jesus loves me.
He says, you've walked with him, you know Him. So here's my question. What do you know about Jesus what has Jesus done for you? No, no, no, no. Don't get churchy. He woke me up. No, no, no, no, no. What has he took the taste of weed out your mouth?
We so churchy now.
Come here. You don't drink as much Crown Royal.
As you used to.
Sorry. I'm in Tennessee. Uncle Nearest. Sorry. Y' all bougie blacks. We drink. Uncle Near. You don't drink as much. You know the reason you don't know some of the dances these kids are doing today? Because you're still trying to do the dances from the 70s. I ain't scared of none of y'.
All.
God says, no, I took your reason. You can't, because you can't. But every once in a while, I thank God that he stopped me from knowing how to so I can bring somebody on a new journey. Paul says I have. I want you to be consistent in your trust in Christ. Are you willing to trust him in season and out of season? I'm not asking you to do anything new. I'm not asking you to get a new degree.
I'm not asking you to go back to school.
Are you willing to trust your. Yes. So let me ask you some questions. What is the last piece of advice that we was given to you? What is the last thing that God challenged you to do? What is the last scripture you memorized? What was the conclusion of the last book you read? Be willing to apply what you know. Don't waste your knowledge because you don't practice it. It's one thing to read the book, it's another thing to do what it says. That's why James came back and said, don't just be hearers, but be doers. And when I do it, watch this. Because I'm not moving based upon what I think. I'm moving based upon what I know. Paul says, I'm willing. I'm almost. I'm. Paul said, only my willing. But number two, I'm stable. Verse 7a says this. I will continue my life in Christ. Why? Because I am rooted and built up in him. Let's break this down. This is so good to me. The word rooted there is very interesting. The same word in the Septuagint when we read Book of Psalms. In Psalm Number one, he says, it's like a tree planted on good soil. It's interesting. This is powerful because in Psalm 1, the imagery that David is painting in this text is that the tree is so rooted in desert places. Watch it so that the roots of the tree get down beyond the soil and are hanging in water and they're wondering why the tree is producing in desert places is because my roots aren't in the desert. My roots are in water. You can't see.
That is so good. Paul says, I want you to remember.
You are rooted in something the world can't see.
That's why cancer couldn't kill you, God.
That's why divorce didn't make you lose your mind.
That's why insecurity didn't destroy you.
Because I'm swimming in something you can't see. Paul said not only are you rooted in Christ, but then he says you are built in Christ. He says Christ is the only sure foundation for time and eternity. Paul is telling them, you are not just living life for today, you are living because some glad morning when this life is over.
Y' all so consumed with TikTok I.
Can'T wait to get on my knees.
Y' all so consumed with Instagram I.
Can'T wait till somebody screams his name and my knees buckle because every knee's going to bow and every tongue's going to confess.
Paul says I'm stable because I got power you can't see.
And my confidence is in who Jesus is. Then he says, I've been established in the faith. He says, my decisions are not persuaded by my ego. My decisions are already made in the Gospel. See, principles answer the question before the question's even asked. Ooh, that was good too. I said, principles, your values answer the question. The reason folk get comfortable bringing you into places that God has not called you to is because you are not answering the question before the questions even asked. Paul says, you are too stable in Jesus to make poor decisions. Jesus is the ground. Jesus is my soil. I am rooted in Jesus. And Paul says I have stability in Jesus. He has fixed me and made me establish.
Why?
Because I've been taught the truth. There's nothing deep here.
I can keep doing what God's called.
Me to do because I'm saved. I'm grounded in Christ, meaning I'm found faithful. I'm rooted in Christ, meaning I'm fed by Christ. I'm established in Christ, meaning he holds me accountable. And when I sin, he gives me grace. Because I know the gospel. You're stable. So Paul says, you are stable. Not because of your location, how good you look. You are stable because of Jesus. So what's the challenge, Pastor Justin? Why do we love instability? We know how to uproot from stable places. Paul says, you know that when you talk to Jesus, he makes you stable. Why do you deviate from his word? It's easy for me to tell you, be stable. It's another thing for me to confront the sin where we run away and love unstable lives. Oh, we love unstable friendships. You know they ain't no good for you. You love unstable relationships. You know he has not asked you to marry him. But now y' all talking about living together. I ain't scared of none of y'.
All as we love unstable conflict. We love unstable, unstable friendships.
We love wars and rumors of wars. I put a status up a couple weeks ago about give me some red flags in relationships. Doggone thing went viral. I put a status up, give me some green flags. Crickets. Because we love spilling tea. Who cheated on who. Red table talk. I got an entanglement. Oh, we love dysfunction. We love. And we love politics. We were talking about voting this upcoming week because we love instability. Oh, my God. I don't want him to win. But, you know, I kind of like what he did on Twitter because it's funny. We love ridiculous debates because we crave instability. But in Christ, he's not unstable.
But we'd rather kill Paul and kill.
Jesus than to trust Jesus. You know what it was like when you got up and told your spouse for four days straight that you love them? Why didn't you do it on the fifth day? You read your Bible on Monday, you read your Bible on Tuesday. And then we go the rest of the week without reading it and wonder why our lives didn't go the way that God called it. You know how firm Jesus is. Why do we make decisions to be unstable? Maybe the challenge for us is to be reminded that I don't need anything else but the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am stable not because of me. I'm stable because of Jesus. I'm stable because he died on an unstable cross to give me a stable life. I'm stable because the gospel still works.
I'm stable because I'm not ashamed of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And God has his church In a season where he's calling us back to.
Trust him to sing like my grandmama how fast? Firm a foundation that on Christ not my ego On Christ, not my degrees On Christ, not my past On Christ, not my mama On Christ, not my title but on Christ the solid rock I stand all of the ground is sinking sand that I know that if I trust God God will take me places I've never been before Because I'm.
Stable in the Lord Jesus Paul says, I want you to be Willing, I want you to be stable. And the way that you keep going without being worried, because if you're willing, you're taking away things. You're stable. You're not choosing instability. Paul says, here's all you gotta do. He says, I want you to be willing. I want you to be stable. But thirdly, and finally, I'm thankful. Paul ends the text by saying, I want you to abound with Thanksgiving. There was a story told of a brother who was robbed and his wife finds his journal. She tells a story about how he wrote a poem in his journal the day he was robbed. He said, God, I thank you that I was robbed because I never had the experience of being robbed before. He said, God, I thank you that while they took my wallet, they didn't take my life. He said, God, I thank you that they didn't take everything from me. And what they took, I'll get it back by faith. He said, God, I thank you that while I was robbed, I wasn't the one doing the robbing. Paul says, I'm done. He tells the church, you can keep going if you're willing to walk with Christ. You can keep going if you're stable in Christ, but you can keep going as long as you stay thankful for Christ. He says, I want you to abound. I want you to be make continual progress with gratitude and thankfulness. Here's what's powerful. Paul makes this. He says the astrologers and false doctrines and colossi were trying to take Jesus off the altar by making the gospel about learn more and do more and find more. He said, astrologers did not give you room to be grateful for what Jesus has already done. I'm talking to people in the building who you're more consumed with your knowledge that God says no. I know you see the stars, but I know Jesus. I know you see what the world gives you, but I see destiny in Jesus because what Thanksgiving does is put Jesus back on the altar. It's extremely important that Paul says that the anecdote to your anxiety is your gratitude that the more I'm thankful, the more I stay focused, that I'm not thankful for what I've done. I'm thankful for what Christ has already done. And if you're wondering what Jesus has.
Done, let me tell you.
While we were yet still sinners, Christ died. I wish I had a witness. Matter of fact, let me give you this.
He decided to die that you weren't an option.
You were a decision that God, I.
Wish you can't treat Me like an option because God calls me a decision that while I was yet still choosing to sin, Christ died for me. And the reason I decide to give him glory is because he decided decided to die for me. The reason I decide to lift my hands is the reason, because he decided to die for me.
So if you come to church and.
Tell me it don't take all that, baby, it takes all that because he decided to die. He decided to be crucified. He decided to crucify his body. So I decided to lift my hands. I decide to open up my mouth. I decide to tell him thank you. I decide to give him glory. Glory. I decide to open up my praise. I decide to stand on my feet. I decide to read my Bible. I decide to show up to church. I decide to come to Bible study. Because while I was still in sin. Okay, Henri, put it like this. I was sinking deep in sin. Far from the peaceful shore Very deeply stained within Sinking to rise no more. Oh, but the master of the sea he heard my uncaring cry and from the. Am I talking to anybody in the building who got a testimony? Love lifted me. Love lifted me when nothing else could help. I'm a Bible preacher.
I'm done. And church.
All I got to tell you is I want you to be thankful for Jesus. I want you to honor Jesus. Because here's where I at in my life. I have a testimony that if it.
Had not been for the Lord who.
Was on my side when I chose not to be on his side, I thank God for what he's already done. So my testimony, church is I just still believe. I can't give up on God. I still believe. I still believe he came down through.
40 and two generations.
I still believe I know what the world says.
I know what Instagram says. I know what popularity says.
But oh, I still believe that he's suffering under Pontius Pilate. I still believe that he died one Friday. I still believe that he stayed dead all night Friday. I still believe that he stayed dead all day Saturday. I still, I still believe that early on Sunday morning the man didn't stay dead. But I still believe that he got up. But I still believe that some glad morning he's coming back again. I still believe that he called some to be prophets and some to be evangelists and some to be apostles, all for the edification of the church. I still believe that he loves me. I still believe that he cares for me. Is there anybody here that can help me close this sermon? And no one what you're Going through. But I still believe that they that wait upon the Lord. They shall I feel all right here now. Renew their strength. They will mount up on wings like an eagle. They'll run and not be weary. They'll walk and not faint. Is there anybody here that can help me close this sermon? Close your eyes and begin to thank God for what he's done in your life. Close your eyes and begin to honor God that he woke me up this morning. He started me on the way. He put running in my feet and he put clapping in my hands. So I can't die here. Cause God's been too good to me. Is there anybody here that can help me close this sermon? Open up your mouth and give God glory. Because eyes have not seen and ears have not heard what God will do in my life. Won't he do it? I said won't he do it? If you know he will toss your head back. Open up your mouth and give God your best praise. Give him your best. Holla. Give him your freedom. Holla. Give him your authority. Holla. Let the redeemed of the Lord say it. Say it. Say it. Yeah, I wait for you to wake up because you can't die here. I wish I. You can't give up here. You can't. You can't lose your mind here. You can't lose your marriage here. I wish I had some folk in the building. God, this is my living praise. I will live to see your glory. I will live to see my children. I will live to graduate. Open up your mouth. Say yeah. Yeah, I will live.
I'm gonna live. I'm gonna live. No, no. I'm gonna live.
I'm gonna live. I'm gonna live. I'm gonna live. I'm gonna live to see God work, to see God restore, to see God transform, to see God renew, to see God bless. To see God multiply. Open up your mouth and shout. I will live. I will live. I will live. Yes.
Yes.
Somebody just let depression off your mind. Somebody just let anxiety get off your mind. That stress you water church just ran off your body. I dare somebody. Open up your mouth and saturate this atmosphere in worship. God, I honor you, you, God.
I honor you. I honor you. Thank you for life.
Thank you for life.

AI gives you hours back every week. Most people's first move is to fill those hours with more work.

Most people stall out on AI at the exact same step. They don't know where to start.

Thank you for the follow-ups, the messages, the emails, all of it since the New York Times piece. Gr

The New York Times spent a weekend with me. Digital twins, AI, the local church, all of it.
