Meta prompting

Justin R. Lester shows how to ask an LLM to improve your prompt before answering it. He walks through a template: generate five clearer versions, explain why each is stronger, pick the best one, then answer in full. A forgiveness example from Matthew 18 shows it in action.

But what if you put a prompt inside of a prompt? Well, it's called meta prompting and I'm here to give you a prompting hack to help you accelerate your life. Meta prompting is very, very simple. It's asking ChatGPT to improve your prompt before even answering it, and it forces it to think clearer. It's above me. You can see it here. So here's my meta prompting for you. Think about it like this. The template goes like this. I want you to study xyz. First generate five alternate prompts that are clear, sharper and more specific than the one I just gave you. For each prompt, tell me why it's stronger and then select the best one and give me a full struct answer to it and make sure it explains a clear explanation, practical applications, and a summary. For example, this example I give you. I want to study forgiveness in Matthew 18. First generate five stronger prompts than this, choose the best one, and then give me full steps to answer it and to do it for practicing forgiveness. Now, why is this important? It's still above me, so please feel free to screenshot this and just throw it into your chat. The reason this is so important is we don't prompt well. So I want you to think about prompting better so that you don't have to worry about doing all this extra stuff to your prompt to do. Tell Jatgpt to make a prompt that's better for it or whatever prompt you use, Claude Gemini, whatever large language model you use. Now, if you want access to my full prompt lab, where I have hundreds of prompts, a full document of 500 prompts, and my prompt lab that will give you access to completely make better prompts for free, comment the word prompt. I'll send it right over to you right away that you can make better prompts because you don't need more tools, you need better prompting. Like and follow for more.
