When you go to your word, be sure that you don't just believe everything you hear from some preacher. Everything you hear, even on YouTube. Be sure that you're one who asks questions. I'm not telling you to question God. I'm telling you to go to God's Word and understand the context. Understand who's there. Whenever you read scripture, read the chapter before and read the chapter after. Understand what's going on before you just believe anything at face value.
