The Next Generation Needs THIS From Your Church 🚨

Fastest growing church are people leaving the church, especially Gen Z and millennials. And don't even get me started on Gen Alpha. They're walking away from church so much and here's why. It's not because of your stream. It's not because of your events. It's because they don't feel seen, heard and trusted to lead. They're leading everywhere else. For some reason in church, they're not old enough to lead. Here's the truth. Young people don't want to just sit in pews and be told. They want to be in the church and lead. Churches that thrive are creating spaces where Gen Z ers and millennials are using their gifts and voices. Let me give you three ways to do it. Number one, give them leadership roles. Let them plan events, run teams and lead groups. Don't just give them busy working a camera to run TikTok. Let them have a say in the culture. 2. Innovate your worship spaces. Everywhere else is creative and interactive but yet the church is stuck 30 years ago. Spoken word, worship night storytelling. Mix it up and don't be so static. And thirdly, be authentic. Gen Z has a radar for fake. They're going to see if you're really cat. So be real about your struggles with your faith through creative spaces and honest where they need honesty. The church doesn't have a you problem. The church has a leadership problem. Young people are ready to lead, but you have to trust them. So how is your church empowering the next generation? How is your church seeing the next generation? And how is your church not giving up on the future before the future hits us? If you want more tips and tricks on how to do this, I have a blog on all this type of stuff. You own a website? Jerrylester.com a blog below. I'll send you a whole list of blogs and the work I've already done on this Ways that we can infuse the future right now.
