Justin R. Lester builds a prayer app called Pause With God in Replit and Firebase, using ChatGPT and a model called 04 mini high to generate the prototype. He creates a basic UI with prayer prompts and categories but doesn't deploy the live API or publish it, instead encouraging viewers to try building with Firebase themselves.

Tech pastor here and we're gonna start building apps today. So today we're gonna build out the Pause With God app from Maria McClure. Maria, is this your comment up here? And you said you wanted to build an app. I'm gonna show you guys exactly what we did to get there and how we're gonna build this out. So you guys already know, like and subscribe, like and follow for more. And so thank you, Maria, for commenting. You guys already know we're gonna do this. I am that tech pastor, giving you the business for your business and then make sure everything is all set and we're gonna go ahead and have some fun. What I did here is I went into chat GPT0 took, obviously 04 mini high is our model. I took here, take this commonly created app prompt, blah, blah, blah. So here's the thing. We're going to do it in Replit at first, but what we realized in Replit is going to continue to connect to Firebase and it kept giving me some issues. So I decided to take this tool over to Firebase. We're going to connect here to Firebase and we're going to run it. So Vibe coding, as we talked to you guys before about, means that you always have a chance to interject and engage with it as well. But we're going to see what it's going to do here. So you can see it's going to get started and I'm not going to, what you call it, narrate the entirety of the app build out, but you can see it's going to give us all of this work. So what's pretty cool is it started out, this is literally, we put in its response here. This is the blueprint to prototype the app. So it's giving us some basic stuff to put in here, prayer prompts and categories and stuff. And we're going to click prototype and let's see Firebase do its work. Since he'd be created the basic UI in UX for our Pause With God app. So thank you, Maria, for submitting it. But we did here, if you guys want to try Vibe coding with Firebase, like I said, we took the comment that Maria had. Now, obviously, if I was building out something a little more robust, had more time on it, I built out something a little bit more in terms of like the. The initial thought. But I appreciate Maria for giving us this. We had built it out with ChatGPT over mini high, took it and deployed it into Firebase. In Firebase, we then did it and it created us for this. And so I'm not going to deploy it, I'm not going to put it out there, but just so you guys can see what's possible with it, I didn't put a real Gemini API connected to it because I wasn't going to deploy the app, but you guys can see what's possible with it on Vive coding, utilizing Firebase. So go build something. Go have fun doing something. And of course, comment like subscribe for more doing this, giving you the business for your business.
