Conversation from a YouTube video ("Building a Brand and Turning into Opportunities") where speakers discuss a specific property with two mortgages and the speaker's prior creative-finance deals, then pivot to advice on building relationships and a brand to establish credibility with real estate agents so they will bring future opportunities. The exchange mixes transactional questions (mortgage statements, deal numbers) with anecdotal branding strategy and agent-management tips.
And honestly, like, even if it's not for you, if you have anyone in mind or just general feedback for me, I would really appreciate it because I've done a couple of creative finance deals, but none of them have been subject to. So I just wanted to see if this would even make sense or be something on someone's radar. So I'll give you as much information as I can just to help give you context.
Okay. Yeah, Perfect. And do you have the mortgage statements on? It sounded like there was two mortgages on the property or just one.
So there are two. He didn't want to send out, like, mortgage statements yet, but like this. I've known this dude since I was five years old and I'm 31. So, like, all the numbers he's given, you're legit?
Oh, yeah. I mean, if you just have like the information that I would normally get from a mortgage statement, that's perfect. So that is the importance of building relationships and building a brand and getting your name out there so that way agents can take you serious. Now, I will tell you, I am doing one of those, like, social media things where I'm kind of like highlighting the good parts. I've had a lot of times where agents have cussed me out. So don't let that fool you or discourage you. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. And it happens only because I spent the time to build a brand, which gave me that instant credibility with the agent to the point where he's comfortable enough to reach out to me as a subject matter expert for future opportunities. And that's all you're looking for. That's all you're looking to do. You don't need to be Pace Morphe. Right? You just need to have enough credibility to establish yourself to where when a deal comes up, an agent thinks of you.
