Last year we were 131 in our industry.
What does it say? We are 112. There we go. So we're 34th in Indianapolis. One hundred and twelfth.
Incorrect. We should be on the list. Yep. Because last year we were four time runner.
Oh yeah. That is our fifth time on the list. We're 47th in Indiana. Just happy to be on the list. So we're here at the Inc 5000 reveal, the digital reveal, the public list actually does not come out yet. But we're happy to be on this list. Last year was a tough year for transportation in general. So even just to be in business should be something that should be celebrated. So we're having a little bit of pizza here in the office and we're just going to take a few minutes to celebrate the success that we've had this year. And again, super happy to be on this list. I remember when I first started here at the company, day one walked in, we had a pile of paperwork of bols. We didn't even record revenue. We were doing dispatching on a whiteboard. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. And so to be here today at this level is truly something to celebrate. And I can tell everyone here is so excited in the office. And this is what our award looked like last year. So we'll be adding another one to the list. This will be our fifth time on the Inc 5000 list and look forward to many, many more in the future.
This list isn't just about revenue. It's about resilience. Making the list once is tough, but doing it five years out of past six, that is insane. That takes a world class team, a strong leadership and a relentless focus on execution. We focused on retaining our drivers through pay and respect. We built an amazing operations team. They can handle anything cradle to grave. We don't have a super large corporate infrastructure. We have don't where you have 10 people touching the same process. Everything is start to finish with one person, ultimate accountability. And that is how we run our operations. With each individual person that is on our operations, we prioritized customer reliability. When people say our name, they know that we're going to provide excellent service. We're going to be on time, we're going to be safe and we're American owned and operated. We are are at the cutting edge of technology. You know, we started in the stone ages and now we are so far advanced in technology that we're leading the industry in what we do. We have our own in house tms and we've automated so much and it is one of the biggest reasons why we've been able to be so lean over the years and not have an enormous staff. Every company that we've looked at over the years and companies that we've acquired, they were all extremely over staffed relative to us. So it made it very profitable for us to acquire some of these companies, plug them into our infrastructure and be able to copy and paste, rinse and repeat because we had built a really lean organization backed by technology. Once we got through those growing pains, we automated the back office and did so much work and spent so many countless hours staying up night after night after night, year after year after year. So that way we can get to this point in our journey for our company and enjoy that growth. And now when we're growing double year after year after year, it looks easy. But I can assure you it was not easy in the beginning. It was really, really difficult. I am so thankful we have gotten to this point and it's going to be a wild ride for the next few years. I can only imagine the growth that we're going to see. Five years on the Inc. 5000 list is amazing. But we're not here to build this company for award. We're building it for impact. More jobs, more growth, more families supported. The road ahead is wide open and we're just getting started.
