Lean Six Sigma will Help you Scale Your Business: Part 1

A guide to using Lean Six Sigma to improve and scale underperforming businesses. The speaker explains the methodology and shares how it can optimize operations, with personal credentials in the approach.
Is a great opportunity for you. And having a tool in your tool belt like Lean Six Sigma, where you can easily identify problems and come up with solutions and implement that into your business that ultimately help buy businesses where you can step in. And over a period of a few months, you can make some pretty amazing changes throughout the organization for the better. Six Sigma is actually a combination of two different methodologies. We have Lean and then we have Six Sigma, and it's oftentimes combined into one methodology which we're calling Lean Six Sigma. So Lean is over $10,000 on Lean Six Sigma training. I am a Lean Six Sigma certified black belt. I first received my Six Sigma training as a green belt when I was working for a Fortune 100 company and then eventually went to get certified at Villanova University where I got my black belt certification. So I have covered hundreds and hundreds of hours of Lean Six Sigma content through all my training. I'm going to strip all of that apart and really condense it to really the just the value added, need to know bits and pieces of information from all of that training. And I'm going to provide that to you. And absolutely free. Let me say that again, absolutely free. This is going to be an incredible value. And I hope you are just as excited as I am to talk about this content. And I'm going to get into a whole bunch of things as to why you need Lean Six Sigma in your business. And you're going to find out very quickly that this is a transferable skill that you can use everywhere. So let's talk about buying businesses for a second, because that's really what this channel is about. Lean Six Sigma is going to give you the tools to succeed for buying businesses and scaling them and improving them.
Right?
Buying a business and that is maybe not performing to its absolute peak, focused more on eliminating waste, and Six Sigma is focused more on continuous improvement. So the term Six Sigma is actually a mathematical term and it actually means 3.4 defects per million opportunities. So if you really think about that for a Second, you take 1 million opportunities or occurrences or events, and what it's saying is out of all those opportunities, those 1 million events, only 3.4 defects exist. So we're talking about a near flawless process right now. When you talk about things such as operating an airplane or an automobile, you know we're really talking about life and death, right? Having one defect can result in a casualty. So you often see Lean Six Sigma implemented in a manufacturing type of environment because the stakes are very high and no errors can happen.
Right.
And that's a great example of how companies use Lean Six Sigma in their business. Through this course, I'm going to show you step by step how to identify problems and ultimately solve those problems through the inclusion of everyone in your organization and ultimately help you and your team rewire your brain and to start thinking differently about approaching those solutions and even identifying those on the front end. And the goal is to ultimately have this be a cultural change. You want everyone in your organization thinking differently. You want them to identify problems themselves because that's ultimately going to better the organization. You as the owner, you only have 24 hours in the day just like everybody else. And, and you want everyone thinking the same way and on the same page in terms of continuous improvement and constantly moving the needle forward, because that's ultimately what's going to lead to long term results. Again, I am super excited to dive into this training series. And did I mention it is absolutely free. Like this is seriously mind blowing. Like you're literally getting over $10,000 of value absolutely free, no cost to you. Super excited. So Lean Six Sigma is something that really you typically only see large organizations implement. And a lot of times it's because they have a lot of waste in their organization where they really need something like Lean Six Sigma. I know when I was working at a Fortune 100 company, they were saving millions and millions of dollars a year.
Right.
And so what we're going to do is help you implement this into your business and future businesses that you buy. So that way you don't even have to get to the point where you are needing to save millions of millions of dollars a year. Let's just do it right on the front end.
Right?
This isn't restricted just to large corporations. You can implement this in your business now because it really is a mindset and a methodology that you can follow and everyone else can follow within the organization. Thanks for watching today. Check out the next video. We're going to dive right into key roles and responsibilities of Lean Six Sigma and that's going to lay the foundation work for everything else in this course. See you next time.
