REAL Estate Success Depends on Learning NOT Cash

A real estate trainer tells Orbit program participants that learning matters more than money when starting out. Focus on skill development and collaboration first. Long-term success in real estate business comes from what you know, not what you have.
Congratulations, you made it past the first video, which is probably going to be the most intense that I'm going to be throughout this whole entire program. My intensity in that video was very intentional. I wanted to eliminate the people that are not serious about taking action and participating in this orbit program and making a change in their life. So I probably lost half the people in it, and I'm okay with that. So now that we've made it past that first video and some of that intensity will dial it down a little bit, I really want to focus on the concept of learning to earn. And you should approach this with the expectation that you're going to make $0. I will be pouring more free time than anyone that participates in this program, where I'm going to get $0 in compensation from the effort that I put in. But it is for an overall larger cause. This is helping me achieve my Mount Everest and this is why I'm doing it. My Mount Everest is to help 2 million people become business owners and to create a life that they can be proud of. A life that gives you financial freedom, a life that gives you time freedom. And by getting you involved in deals and eventually partnering with you, you are very much becoming a business owner. Real estate is a business, especially when you get into the operations part of it, you will find out very quickly. It is not passive whatsoever. Every single day, my phone rings multiple times a day for issues, breakdowns, a whole bunch of stuff that happens. Just normal day to day stuff. That's what happens when you buy a lot of real estate. You get a lot of problems. So I can assure you it's very much a business and I want you to be a part of that business. We really need to understand that your goal here is to learn. Your goal is to accumulate as much information as possible. I can assure you the value you're going to get from this program is worth 10 times more than what an hourly wage would be from the effort that you put into the program. So the end result is not to make some money from closing or wholesaling a deal or, you know, the team buying a deal and you get some sort of assignment fee. That's not the end goal. The end goal is you transforming your life with knowledge that you have that no one can take away from you, that you can carry on to every single deal that you do for the rest of your life. Think about the value of that knowledge much. So if you're here to join this program as a way to solve any financial needs that you have, this is not the program for you. We are not going to be cranking out 15 deals a month. It's just not going to happen. I can't even guarantee you any deals now. I'm doing probably one or two a month. That's what I've been doing. Just based on myself, I would like to think that would increase. But in the beginning, as we are doing a lot of training and education, that may slow down, right? We may have to go slow before we can go fast. Take this video, for example. I'm filming this training video right now. This is time that I could be spending acquiring properties. But we're taking the time to train. We're learning before we're earning. So that is a concept that I hope you resonate with, that it's very important to come into this orbit program with the expectation that you're going to make $0. And you're here to accumulate knowledge. And if you make anything, Even if it's $10 now, if you're making money, it's going to be more than $10. But anything you make is just cherry on top. It should be like an amazing bonus for you to get paid anything. It's an amazing bonus for me to get paid anything. This is more about you learning, and this is more about me solving my Mount Everest and us working together to put you in a different spot and for you to take this knowledge and apply that to everything you do in the future. Again, we're here to learn to earn. If I were you, what I would do in this orbit program is if you already have a specific skill set that you're really good at, I would not recommend you to just stay in that position. If you're really good at underwriting, there's no point for you to just stay in the underwriting part of our program for the entire program, because you're probably not going to get the most out of it, as opposed to focusing on other areas that maybe you're not good at that you want to improve on. Now, what you can do, for example, if you're a really great underwriter, is you can help other people in the orbit program become good at underwriting. I really want everyone in this orbit program to help each other out. I work during the day just like a lot of you work during the day. The more time that we collectively put into this program to help each other out, the better experience everybody's gonna have. So please don't rely on me to provide all the value. I'm really going to lean heavy on everyone in this program for us to all work together and embody the spirit of our community and what pace has built. So please step outside your comfort zone. Learn some other things that you don't know of today. That's the entire point of this program, is for you to expand your knowledge. I just want to thank you in advance if you are going to take action and join this orbit program. Thank you for helping everybody in here. I am truly grateful to have you as part of this program and I'm so excited to help you achieve everything you wanted to achieve.
