The Empowered Voices World Tour launched on May 27th.
The world tour of Empowered Voices starts right here, right now. For the next 2.5 months, I'm going to be traveling around the world, including the West Coast of the United States, South Africa, and Europe. I'm going to be sharing kazoos and stories and talking to meetup groups, meeting people on the street and talking to them one-on-one, and hearing the stories of empowered people. And you all helped me launch it.
¡Gracias! The launch was hosted at Together Source Maker Music Festival in Albuquerque, and it was a great chance to address an enthusiastic crowd and share in celebration together.
¡Gracias! ¡Gracias!
¡Gracias! We joyfully shared stories, learned about how to empower your voice, And, of course, the ever-present in this tour kazoo had to make an appearance. It was a whole lot of fun, and then we followed it up with some interviews. Two days later, headed out on the actual tour. Woo! Yeah! Driving cross-country from New Mexico all the way to Seattle, Washington, with a few stops to make some recordings along the way.
The Beatles World Tour starts in Albuquerque.
A surprise living room concert by a Mongolian family. I got to hold more interviews along the way, like with Paige Benson and Erin Gwynnup. And then, of course, the kazoos. Cabin.
What is—
I'll be—
thank you. No, you don't. You have to hum. You have to make sound with your throat.
Oh man. Prior to the flight back to Albuquerque, I got to enjoy a little bit of time in Seattle and the Puget Sound area. So here's some beautiful scenery from that. Now I've got a week in Albuquerque for week 2, and then it's off for more empowered voices.
