Dan Martell argues that talking on camera is a learnable skill that separates world-class creators from the rest. What's the next level skill you need to acquire to go be world class at the thing you wanna accomplish? The next level skill I had to acquire, if I'm the talent, is I gotta go learn how to talk. And it sounds funny because people see me today, but that's why I leave my old videos up. Go watch them. I was very clinical. I was very informational, but I wasn't entertaining. I didn't use metaphors. I didn't understand how to pause. I didn't diagram. I didn't visualize what I was saying. I didn't tell stories. So I made a list of the skills I had to go acquire to be great at creating content because there's no amount of editing that will fix bad talent. And that's the difference maker, especially on a YouTube where the person's listening and watching and they're looking at your eyes. And if they see you flinch and you're not confident what you're saying or you're not into what you're saying, they're like, I'm not watching this. I don't believe he believes what he's saying.
