Here are the 2 biggest things that I learned interviewing author Grant Cardone twice. The first is that when you're in the room with Grant, all eyes are on you. He makes you feel like a million bucks. And so when you're communicating with other people, make sure you're not distracted. Put down your phone, pay attention, compliment that person, and make them feel very special when they walk out of the room. If they go, wow, that was a really cool interaction, then you've done your job. Don't be forgettable. Have high, intense energy. And then number 2, we are all in sales. Sales is simply the ability to help other people make progress in their lives. You need to sit back, ask great questions, be inquisitive. You also need to be able to clearly articulate what's in your head so that you can help other people see the world the way that you see it. Grant taught me that we're all salespeople. So those are the 2 biggest things that I learned from GC.
