Hello, Book Thinkers family! In today's video, I'm going to share some of the books that I'm very excited to read in 2020. I haven't read any of these yet, but let me know if you have. I'd love to hear what you thought of these. So I'll go through them one at a time. The first book is Benjamin Franklin by Walter Isaacson. I love Walter Isaacson. I think he's the best biographer in the game, and I really enjoy his writing style. This is a thick one, so I'm not sure if I'm going to do it on Audible yet or if I'm actually going to read it, but I can't wait to learn about Benjamin Franklin. One of those people that is kind of one of the fathers of personal development and self-help. So I'm really excited for that one. The next was gifted to me for Christmas, and it's Educated by Tara Westover. I've heard amazing things from this book, and I've read so many cool quotes from this book as well. So it's definitely one that I'm excited about. After that is Indistractable by Nir Eyal. I think we live in an age right now where it's very easy to let your entire day fly by in the whirlwind and you don't get any intentional work done. This book helps you kind of clear through that and focus and become indistractable. And that's one of the goals that I have for this year. After that, a lot of people are mad at me for not reading this yet, but I'm going to read it. This is Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, and it's a book that I've heard so many amazing things about. It's just a large book, so it's been intimidating and I haven't had the time to read it, but This year I've taken a step back. My reading goal is a little bit less, so I'm definitely going to get through it this year. Here's another one that— some books are falling. Here's another one that I'm very excited to read: The Influential Author by Gregory Diehl. I'm going to write a book this year, or at least start the process. I'm going to outline my first book this year, and I've heard good things about this book as a stepping stone in that process. After that, Robert Greene, The Laws of Human Nature. Heard amazing things about this book as well. Robert Greene is one of those fantastic thinkers of our time that I think is a little bit underappreciated by the general population, but there are certain people like Ryan Holiday who definitely appreciate his work and continue to talk about how amazing Robert Greene is. So that's a book that I'm really excited to read. And then these last 2, 2 more books that I'm kind of upset that I haven't read yet. Mindset by Carol Dweck. I have heard so many podcasts where this book is referenced that I feel like I know this book inside and out, but I've never read it, so I'm going to read it this year. And then the last book, Seeking Wisdom: From Darwin to Munger by Peter Bevelin. And this book has come highly recommended by, geez, dozens of people, either in my DMs or in podcasts or people that I look up to. Everybody recommends this book, and I've never taken the time to read it. It's not even that long. So I'm going to read all these books this year. Here's the stack. Well, here's part of the stack. Some of the stack fell down and I'm going to get to reading this year. What, what are— I guess the question is for everybody that's watching the video today, what are some of the books that you look forward to reading in 2020? Comment them below. Bye. Bye.
