Absolutely amazing to dive into the concepts of separateness and oneness with Jon Gordon!

Jon Gordon talks about separateness and oneness. He asks the host whether they feel more connected while speaking, and the host says yes, describing a strong sense of connection that embodies the oneness concept Gordon writes about.
I'd love to if you could talk about this concept of separateness and oneness that you talk about in your book.
Do we feel more connected right now in talking to each other? What do you think?
Yeah, 100%.
So here we are in 4 different places. You guys have different tiles that I'm looking at right here of Zoom tiles. We're in different places and we are in some ways separate, but here we are now connected, you know, as one, having a common experience, and we feel more bonded and connected as a result of that. That's oneness. The more one you feel, the more joy, the more power, the more healthy you feel. When you feel separate, you feel divided, you feel weak. The root for the Greek word of anxious means to separate and divide. So when you're anxious, you feel divided, you feel separate. So when you move from oneness to separateness, you move from positive to negative. And so, so many of our mental health issues is the result of feeling disconnected and separate, being isolated, maybe physically, emotionally, relationally, or individually, where you just don't feel connected to yourself, to others, or spiritually to the creator of the universe. There's a health to people when they have a connection to their creator that you can't deny.
