Here's a fresh take on the idea that we are the average of the five people that we spend the most time with. You've probably heard that a few times. Well, this author says no, no, no, no, no. There's a much better version. This book is called It's Not About Me, and it's by author Randall Hogg. And right in the beginning, he says we are the average of the seven most positive people and the seven most negative people that we spend the most time around. Those fourteen people make up our success in life because the positive and And the negative influence our behavior. So I really like this idea because it forces us to evaluate who are the people around us that are sucking our energy, that are actually providing a negative impact on our lives. And it calls us into action to change those relationships and be more conscious of them. It's not a fun subject to talk about, but the negative people around us, we need to manage those relationships a little bit better.
