Self-reflection works better with external feedback. Listen to what others say about you, watch how the world reacts, and ask people with different perspectives. You can't see yourself clearly alone.

Self-reflection isn't something that you necessarily do by yourself, which is kind of confusing at first. But one of the great tools for self-reflection is to listen to what other people are saying to you about you, is to look in the mirror that is the world around you. Look at people who have more experience than you do in this area or that area, or look at people who have a clearer eye than you do because they're less involved. Perhaps they can look from a different standpoint. The world is your mirror, and, you know, you can shut your eyes and drive on blind, but life is better when you look in the mirror.
