How does @AlexHormozi center himself?

Alex Hormozi skips meditation for weightlifting, where he finds his calm and composes tweets between sets. He argues that your worldview shapes everything: if you believe there's no afterlife or inherent meaning, you get to choose your own rules and decide what counts as failure.
Do you have any advice around centering yourself in a moment like that? Is it just asking the reframing questions, or did you spend a lot of time meditating so now you have more time between an input to your brain and your reaction?
I, I've like really never meditated. I would say like the only time I could say that I maybe meditate is like when I lift. It's like I can take my head off things. And so like a lot of— so all my tweets, if you ever see on Twitter, like 90% of them just come between sets. The reason I think worldviews are so important is because it frames everything we do. And so like if you change someone's worldview, you change their life. And so I think that if people got their worldview solid, or at least could articulate what they actually believe, then you work from, from the widest aperture down. Because if you believe that nothing happens after you die, at least as I do, and that nothing that we do has inherent meaning, then we're riding a ride that we just— we're playing a single-player game and we get to choose the rules. And so like, it's only a failure if you call it one.
Yeah.
Right? And so people are like, well, I don't want to fail. It's like, why not? So there's 2 ways you can frame it. One is you can say it's not a failure, or you can say failure isn't bad. Either one works.
