Nick Hutchison asks if you'd finish a book in a week for $10,000, arguing that people don't read because they don't see the value, not because they can't. One book could accelerate whatever you're trying to do.

If I gave you $10,000 to finish a book by the end of next week, do you think you could do it? Of course you could. $10,000 for just a few hours of your time. That's the question that I ask my friends who say, hey Nick, I appreciate what you're doing with Book Thinkers, but I'm not a reader. I can't read. Well, what if I gave you $10,000 to finish a book? Well, then I could read. See, it's a question of value. If you're somebody that's not a big reader, it's because you don't value the act of reading more than you value what you spend your time on. And so I'll ask you this. If you look at where you are today and where you want to be by the end of the year, What's holding you back? I bet there's a book that could help solve that problem. Now, is it starting to be a little bit more value? That's what personal development does. It solves our problems and gets us closer to where we want to be in life.
