Nick Perry describes a future where people train AI agents to do their jobs, then sell those agents to companies for less than hiring a full department costs. He argues this is a win for both the agent owner and employer, and urges people to embrace AI by replacing themselves before someone else does.

The job market of the future is going to be BYOS, which is bring your own software or bring your own agent. And so what that means is you're going to train agents on doing what you do so that you can go to a business and say, hey, instead of hiring a department, you can just bring me and I can do all of it. And instead of compensating an entire department, I would like some fraction between what you would pay one person and what you pay that entire department. It's a win-win proposition that I think people who are paying attention to AI right now and not afraid of it, believing into it so that the goal is that you replace yourself and don't let someone else do it.
