The guy who built Claude Code just dropped what he thinks the future of jobs could look like. He said the old roles like designer, engineer, and manager are all melting into 5 new types of roles that have nothing to do with your degree and everything to do with how you build with AI. He says there will be 5 new types of roles. Number 1 is the prototyper who spits out tons of new ideas. Then comes the builder who turns an idea into a real product fast. Next to that is the sweeper who cleans it up and makes it super simple. And then comes the scaler who takes what's built and makes people love it. And finally is the maintainer who keeps keeps it all running as it scales. Every healthy startup team needs a mix of these. So figure out which archetype you are, get good at it, get even better with AI if you want to have a fighting chance in the next 5 years.
