Nick Perry argues Dana White's decision to remove every Peloton bike from the UFC after the company stopped paying Deovan shows what real loyalty looks like. He compares it to Michael Jordan, who'd retaliate fiercely against anyone threatening his loved ones. The worst betrayal is telling someone they can't protect the people they care about.
Most people get this completely wrong about ride or die. When Peloton told Deovan they'd stop paying him over an interview they didn't like, most friends would've just said that sucks and moved on, but Dana White threw every Peloton bike out of the UFC and told them they'd never buy another one, because the man openly says he's an incredible friend but an even more dangerous enemy. Now, Michael Jordan was the exact same way. See, somebody would talk a little trash to Michael and he'd go out and break every record just to destroy that person. So the worst thing you could ever do to someone like that is tell them they can't protect the people they love, because that's the one fight they'll never back down from. Follow me for more.
