Do This and the Embassy Will Prioritize You in an Emergency

Never, ever travel again without doing this one thing, especially if you plan on staying in a foreign country for more than two days. And that thing is to get on the presence list. This is a record of expats that embassies collect in order to notify them about things like potential wars, tsunamis, typhoons and earthquakes. Here's how you get on this list. Call your embassy, give them your passport number, contact information, and the dates of your stay in your selected country. So now, anytime something happens and the embassy is aware, it's their obligation to reach out to you. So before you plan your passport bro trip, remember to.
