Never ever replace your garbage disposal without doing this first, because most of the time it's not actually broken, it just needs this one thing. So look at the bottom of the unit, there should be a little red button, push it. That's the reset button. Your disposal just tripped and shut itself off, and one push is all it takes to get it running again. So send this to someone before they waste money replacing a disposal that was never broken.
