Nick Perry shows how to clear a clogged bathroom sink yourself. Unscrew the P-trap under the sink, remove the pop-up stopper, and push a twisted paper towel through to dislodge the clog. Clean everything, wipe the sealing edges, and reassemble.
If your bathroom sink is clogged, then don't call a plumber. Do this instead. Open a garbage bag and set it under the sink to catch what's coming. Unscrew the P-trap, then pull out the pop-up arm and the pop-up itself. Twist a paper towel into a tight rope and push it through. Then clean the P-trap and pop-up over the garbage bag, wipe the edges so it seals, and tighten everything back up.
