Nick Perry warns that AI trained on average writing produces mediocre copy by default. His fix: prompt five to six times, feed the model examples of your voice, and engineer context carefully. Skip the copy-paste shortcut.

Never, ever, ever use AI for writing ever again until you know this, or else people won't read whatever you're writing. Here's why: AI is trained on and is designed to be used by the average person, the same kind of person who can't write, sell, or close to save their life. So when you use it for writing, you get what that kind of person would write. But you can avoid that completely by doing these few things that I do to make my Claude 10 times better, and those are prompting it 5 or 6 times, feeding in my voice and engineering the context. So try those things and don't be like most people who just copy and paste, send, post, and publish.
