Nick Perry says most people quit in the first two or three months when they don't know what they're doing yet. Entrepreneurship is a long-distance race. Confusion and being overwhelmed are normal stages of learning, not signs you should stop.
Most people quit entrepreneurship because they don't realize that two to three months of having no idea what you're doing is an obstacle in the journey and not an obstruction in the journey. Entrepreneurship is a long distance steeple race, not a 100 meter sprint. Obstacles are meant to be there. You're supposed to be overwhelmed when you're learning something new. It's not supposed to be comfortable when you're doing something that you've never done before. If you don't know what you're doing after a week of starting to do it, that doesn't mean you should quit. That means you're a beginner.
